This is our first time here. We ordered the fish taco, broiled chicken salad and fish quesadilla. We had a great dinner here. Everything is so fresh.

Tough to find seating during lunch time.
I got the fish burrito. The tortilla is good. The fish is good. But the rice was overcooked, so it was mushy and flavorless. And the lettuce was soggy. It was alright. The salsas don’t have much flavor. It’s mostly heat. The chips are great, super crunchy and the green sauce with the fish is good. The guacamole was good. You can even order half a burrito which is cool. Service is good. Parking is tough. They have a drive thru. The building is cold. It seems they don’t have heat.

Genuinely one of the most authentic and best tasting Mexican places I know. All the food is incredible, it’s not too pricey, the service is good. The drive thru is helpful for when you’re in a hurry.
The one complaint I have is the building is super small for such a popular place, but please don’t leave.

I love the fish tacos, veggie taco and shrimp taco. My husband likes Maria’s Plate. We have been going there since it opened many years ago. The food is delicious, the staff is friendly and helpful, and the atmosphere is very fun. We love this place.

Came to fuel up after skiing. Originally thought the sign said $4 for 2 soft tacos when it’s really two corn tortillas per taco. Ended up spending $20 for 4 tacos…so i figured they would be the best tacos ive ever had. They were pretty mid. I could spend $10 at a taco stand and get the same amount and much better tacos. The tacos had barely any onion and cilantro and they gave us way too much sauce and barely any pico. The carnitas I got were dry and were not close to any carnitas I’ve had before. I would rather get tacos at a taco stand or anywhere else really. Also had to pay separate for me and my buddies orders even though we ordered together in the drive thru. This is my first experience so maybe it’s better than this but i was very disappointed.

The quality of service and food is terrible compared to a few years ago. The server was just rude for no reason, my taco has 7 TINY pieces of onion on it and thats basically it. I added the tomatos. Theres a way better family owned mexican restaurant down the street called taqueria I’ve recently started going to, they’re so kind and have great food

Why are there carrots and whole peas in their veggie burrito? Low key I think they bought a frozen stir fry mix – I found broccoli too

I have been going to this place for a decade and the decline of quality and care that goes into items is very sad. What once was a place my husband and I could rely on for a good meal that would last us a few days even has been replaced by a place that is only busy because its reputation somehow is still drumming up business. This is not the restaurant that was on Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives. Everyone seems annoyed to work here. If you don’t order within seconds they are mad that you’re taking away their time. The restaurant still looks cool but I can’t say I’ve walked away super happy with everything for a while. This last time was the last straw. My husband ordered double fish, double beans with no rice on his nachos and he got hardly any fish, I think I counted maybe four pieces of fish, there were a lot of beans and that was it. My burrito which was a carne asada burrito with extra meat, no rice was in fact almost all meat and tomatoes . Scant pieces of lettuce here and there and a wad of cheese. The burrito itself was half the size it used to be. Also the burrito toppings are so lack luster anyways they really can’t give you the same toppings as the nachos? Really? The Carne asada was also just missing flavor. The worst thing was the price. 45 dollars for a burrito and nachos?! I feel like if it was the quality it used to be it would be acceptable but this experience has made sure that I likely won’t be returning. Especially when I can get a lot more food elsewhere for the same price.

We loved their extensive salsa bar! There were many to choose from. The vibe is super cool as well.
We hated that they used store bought tortillas. Tortillas should always be handmade. The slaw on the tacos needed to be sautéed and seasoned as well. It was lacking the authentic Mexican flavors

It’s usually stressful trying to get parking, but it’s all worth it. I’ve tried multiple things here and it’s always great. I love getting their burritos and the tacos are always great. The full sized burrito can feed two large adults, each taco is pretty small. One person would need at least two. Everything seems pretty authentic. A great mexican place in Salt Lake area. Also, it’s a cool location, not great for large groups or people.
