When I first walked in no one greeted me, if there wasn’t people talking I would have thought they were closed. About a minute later finally a waitress yells from across the room “hold on I will be right with.” When she was finally done I asked her if I was able to place a to go order. She said yes, but for some reason she and her coworker looked confused and finally said to follow her. She seated me at the sushi bar, then she told her coworker to help instead because she said she can’t. the othe girl that helped me was great she I can tell liked her job she even spoke japanese. I did not have trouble ordering but when it came to getting my food it took over a bit more than 50 minutes to get my food. The reason being there were customers already there but had their food, but placed more orders however it was after I placed mine. About 15 minutes after i placed the order a lady walks in and says to the one waitress that she had placed an order 20 minutes ago and was there to pick up her order. They made her wait another 18 minutes. So once again the sushi guy made her food then went back to making the food of the customers that were already there. Then he made mine. But took 50ish minutes. Now when it came to paying for the food it was way more than I expected at least 14 dollars more.
Okay it gets worse. When I finally got home, i was excited to eat, when I opened the containers the food looked awful. It smelled super fishy. I got the spicy tuna roll, white tuna and garlic roll, and the dinner for two of the sushi and sashimi plate, 2 squid nigri, and 2 masago nigri. The sushi guy does not know how to make sushi. It look like a someone who made sushi for the first time ever and never knew about sushi until that day. Upon that the fish they used were not fresh. The look of the rolls were unevenly cut, rice was overaly soggy, the rolls had more rice and hardly any fish. The wasabi was extremely wet since it was wrapped in parchment paper with ginger. So I would say I will never ever go back to this place nor will I reccommend this place even to people I don’t like.
