Great old fashioned homestyle food. A bit of Americana. The sum of the food, service and atmosphere is much more than the individual parts. Not fancy, just good like dinner at Grandma’s house in the 70’s. Had the classic turkey plate and a hot turkey sandwich. Good food and a good value. Servers were polite and attentive. Ended the meal with a piece of homemade banana cream pie. There selection of homemade cakes and pies alone is worth returning for. Recommended.

Disappointed. Go Here regularly Fall-Spring. This year our first Super Turkey Plate (all white meat) was missing half the turkey(sliced Thin?) the dressing was mush and flavorless, potatoes missing the Love they used to have. Plenty of Salty gravy all over the plate, WOW. Look at my pics.

Classic home style dinner. Had the Turkey and just could not pass up dessert ( which was worth it). Wait staff work together, not just thier table so expect great service. Our main waitress Mallory was the best. Will be back often.

On our way up north, I begged my boyfriend to stop since I always wanted to come here as a kid. We pulled into the parking lot on a Friday just before 12:30 and it was packed so we were a little worried. We walked right in and were immediately sat. Like I said we have never been before, so we took a few minutes to peruse the menu and get our drinks. Once we ordered (me the turkey plate, my boyfriend the roast beef plate) I kid you not, our food was at the table in less than 2 minutes. I know we ordered popular dishes but holy cow! It was the perfect stop for a halfway lunch, and the food was delicious. The biscuits were out of this world and I think when I go back I’m gonna get extra to take home. We spent $27 total which I thought was totally reasonable and it was such a better lunch than just stopping at McDonald’s or something. I am so looking forward to coming back!

It’s been a while since I’ve been here. Food is still delicious. Prices have gone up, but of course, they have everywhere. It’s still worth the stop.

The turkey is cut very thin. Not like it used to be. I would expect about a 1/4″ thickness to main meals. And the stuffing is not like I’m use to. Not a very good sage testing stuffing. Gravy was bland. Not sure it lived up to all the hype I remember thru all the yrs we are there.

My boss and I were searching for a local business to cater lunch for an event and Turkey Roost was an absolute no-brainer. The staff was very helpful with providing us contact information for who we needed to speak to to place our large order (30 meals). When I arrived on a Tuesday, when they’re drive-thru only, the staff allowed me to pull to the back and carried the large boxes full of not only the meals themselves, but all of the “odds and ends” to go along with it to my car and thanked me for our business and assured me that if there was anything “wrong” or “missing” to contact them and they will make it right. To absolutely no ones surprise, everything was PERFECT. The food was warm and very filling. Every person, including myself, were incredibly satisfied and there were no complaints to be had. This was my first ever experience with Turkey Roost and I’m eager to return (hopefully soon)

Quick question.. why would anyone serve this? Its presented on burnt toast, It’s pretty obvious that the bread is burnt and I just don’t understand why they just didn’t make more? How long does it take to toast new bread? It’s clearly a huge inconvenience. This establishment has declined in quality. The owner should be embarrassed that there is food being sent out like this from their restaurant. I can assure you that I will not be returning. Get real.

Excellent food! I had the Turkey plate and my husband had the Hot Turkey Sandwich….see the pictures. Everything is cooked from scratch and tastes delicious. They are super fast here too. Easy parking and lots of room inside even though they were busy.
