My family and I typically enjoy visiting locally owned and operated restaurants to support independent businesses. However, this was NOT an enjoyable experience. The service was SLOW and the crabcake sandwich was honestly the worst I’ve ever tasted. I asked the waitress for her recommendation and she said she had just started there so she didn’t know. Being from Maryland, I ordered the crabcake and was disappointed by what came out…it was a processed patty that didn’t even fill the bun. NOT worth the money. I couldnt even eat it. My husband had the hot chicken sandwich special which was average. My daughter said her burger was good and my other daughter said her chicken Caesar salad was okay. The best part of our meal was the cheese bay fries.

Boonies is a nice quiet place with indoor and outdoor dining options. For starters we got the crab dip which was delicious. We also ordered cream of broccoli soup, a cheeseburger and two blt sandwiches. All of which tasted very good. The employees here were all very courteous and attentive. We will be back for sure when in the area

Not a lot of options in this area. Pretty much this bar and the red roost. we ordered a salad steak and some coconut shrimp. The shrimp and the salad with the highlights. Drinks were good and we were able to play some corn hole and the awesome corn hole sand box that they have. Great string lights. Good service. Definitely worth a fun stop if you’re in the area.

Second time here and we are sold! It’s quite a drive to get out here but so worth it. The deck and bar area are fantastic. They have an outside fireplace. They have a corn hole area to play full court corn hole! So this time around for drinks we got the pina colada and it was good. (I can’t t stand paying 8.00 for a drink no matter how good) so we decided to get 2 appetizers. Crab dip with bread and rock fish bites. The crab dip was amazing. We literally forced down the last couple bites using the rock fish bites to clean the plate! You will not be disappointed here!

Lives up to its name. It’s in the middle of no where eastern shore. Don’t blink or you’ll miss it, non-descript on a bend in the road. Had to sit inside because of threat of thunderstorms which was disappointing because the deck is nicer than the inside booths. Rockfish bites appetizer were pretty good and enough to share for two. Crabby pizza is pretty good. Ki d of like a pizza made with crab dip with some diced tomatoes on top. Enough for o e person. Crabcake sandwich was pretty good, came with old bay seasoned fries. Evolution lot 3 on tap, bonus points. Out the door for about sixty bucks including tip.

DINNER DATE!! My wife and I took a little drive down Nanticoke rd for a dinner date and it payed off!!!! From the moment we walked in we were greeted with smiles. There’s a nice dining room but we opted the sit bar side since there was a band playing. Our waiter was friendly and knew the menu well. We started with the pretzels and dip which consisted of beer cheese, crab dip,& Buffalo chicken dip!!!! I got the ahi tacos and my wife got the French dip. True masterpiece of flavors that danced on my taste buds!!! Thank you guys for making our date night special

My husband and I wanted to go out for dinner and we have been to Boonies several times and have enjoyed, but we decided to dine in and the service was terrible. It seems they were catering to the customers outside and the inside had taken a backseat so to say. Most time no one was around (waitress or anyone) there was another couple inside as well and they seemed annoyed as much as we were. When the food came out finally my husbands dinner was wrong (no one around again to let know) so he just ate it. He did speak to the manager when we got done.
It would be nice if a couple of employees could just stay inside to accommodate the paying customers inside.

I’m from Texas but my mother is from Maryland and was extremely disappointed. The service was slow since they were busy and obviously understaffed but that isn’t an excuse for ice cold. But… their crab appetizer and steak (rare) are pretty decent, and their strawberry daiquiri is absolutely delightful! They do have this adorable stray cat who is quite skinny and always appreciates handouts, I just wish they would set out some kitchen scraps for the little mama.
