B I E N V E N U E ! Bij M E V R O U W M E I J E R draait alles om lekker, eerlijk en seizoensgebonden eten en drinken; ongecompliceerd en met veel aandacht voor haar gasten. Wij serveren een wisselend menu van drie of vier gangen. Er is keuze uit twee opties per gang en uiteraard de mogelijkheid om volledig vegetarisch te eten of het menu naar wens uit te breiden met oesters, huisgemaakte charcuterie en/of kaas. Definitely not worth it. The food tasted surprisingly bad. Surprisingly, because it looked good, but tasted really bad. Before every plate came we had hope, but it was just bland and the combination of the ingredients really did not match well. They’ve completely misunderstood the French cuisine.
The atmosphere was cute. We loved the decor. The servers were kind and attentive, but we waited one and a half hours for our main course. So the waiting was too long. They kept us busy with wine etc. For this expensive of a restaurant they need to do so much better than this. I mean do you taste the food before serving? Is there just a massive difference between all our taste buds? I don’t know. The people who think this is good food should go to France or Italy, go to a random restaurant and you’ll pay much less for much better food.

My boyfriend and I had dinner here in July last year. We had dinner outside and the vibes were just immaculate, the only thing that was better than the ambiance was the service. We had a lovely lady giving us suggestions and telling us interesting things and it made the experience so nice.
Obviously the food was also incredibly good, I had the best gnocchi dish in my life!

It was our first time at Mevrouw Meijer and we had an amazing experience. The restaurant is an oasis in Rotterdam Noord with a great atmosphere. We arrived and the sun was shinning and the terras is situated right so you can enjoy the evening sun. We started with an appetitive and some oysters outside which was a perfect start to the dinner. Contantijn was our waiter and he explained our set menu with the wine pairing well. He was very attentive, kind and accomodating. The set menu had great variety and suprising taste which we really enjoyed. The pairing of the wines was interesting and we enjoyed the generous small glass option. We would recommend this place to everyone but make sure to book it in time as reservations are quickly full.

Great food: Everything was really well prepared from the paste with crackers as the appetizer to the fried zucchini and the main fish. (The stuffed tomato felt a bit boring in comparison but was far from being bad)

I’ve been going to this restaurant for 7+ years and it remains my all time favourite. They keep changing dishes so even if you go every month, you will always be able to try something new. The food is great but also the place itself and the people there. It’s a very special place to me that never disappoint.
For a French person, that’s also a nice place if you’re homesick and miss some homemade pâté or quail! I recommend it to anyone around me and everybody was always really happy they tried and would return
