this place is so good. we had to leave our hotel early and this was one of the few places open at the time, so we called in to place an order for pickup. for 3 people, they had our food ready in about 15 minutes, and it was so good. the omelettes with meat have such a good amount of meat, and it tasted amazing. the staff had written on the boxes, which is nice and shows that the place appreciates their customers. also, the girl who we spoke with on the phone aswell as when picking up our food was very sweet and made the experience very enjoyable. if anyone’s in town, try this place for breakfast!

The portions were generous, the food was delicious, and the coffee was served extra hot—just the way it should be! Service was excellent, and our meals came out quickly. Such a great local spot with so much history in the building. The exposed brick walls give it an extra charm that I absolutely love!

Great place and even better people. Breakfast was simply done and quite tasty. I had a hard time deciding between eggs and anytime lunch items.
Eggs, bacon, toast, hashbrowns and gravy, yes, all together was it.
This will be my go-to spot the next time I’m in town. I really loved the small town hospitality. Great job.

Such a cute spot for your classic American breakfast and lunch. The atmosphere is welcoming, the staff is incredibly friendly, and you can truly feel the warmth of the community the moment you walk in. I especially loved the beautiful local art displayed on the walls — it adds so much character.
We were in town for a tumbling meet and this quickly became our go-to place for early morning breakfast. It was the perfect start to our days.

Took a day trip to Shelbyville from Effingham County with family and had heard great things about this place. There are several murals nearby, including one on the side of this building. We were lucky enough to get a table by the window and the courthouse view was just beautiful. Food and service were both great and I look forward to checking this place out again in the future.

Stopped in and knew nothing about this place. Vintage and nice inside, very relaxing. Great views outside. Had the Thursday Special, Country Fried Steak, mashed taters, corn and white gravy. Delicious, hot, and very quick. I recommend.

Waited over 45 minutes for cold food to be delivered to our table. It baffles me that we waitied for so long just to be served room temperature food. Hashbrowns were disgusting and seemed like they were cooked in old oil. The gravy for the biscuits was the most flavorless floured blob. There was no seasoning whatsoever. Just flour and water I had to scrape it off of my food so I could eat what was underneath. I do not recommend this place to anyone. Long wait for cold flavorless food.

Food is great and reasonably priced. They work on a team model and very pleasant staff. Atmosphere is in a historic building which we loved, with just enough cute decor to not be overdone. Very home town vibe.

Nice cafe with a great breakfast menu. The bottomless coffee was needed and was amazing! Our server got slammed with our huge party as we all came in and she was such a sweetheart. She did a great job with customer service and making sure we were all taken care of. I got the Haystack and my husband had the Western Omelette. Both were excellent. My nephew loved his pancakes which were pretty generous in size. Nice atmosphere and easy to have conversations with people at your table without having to shout at each other. It was a very comfortable experience.
