Best Italian meal I ever had!! I had the Sacchetti Con Pera E Mascarpone. Pear and Mascarpone cheese filled pasta served in Marsala cream sauce with Prosciutto and Mushrooms From the hostess to the server, our visit was Magic! The Ambience was beautiful, and the Cool vibe music was very entertaining. I loved it! I can’t wait to go back! What a Gem right here in Plymouth, Massachusetts!!

The food was fantastic, but the service was not great. The service (just getting bread and drinks) was slow to begin with. The waitress told us she forgot to put our order in 15-20 minutes after we ordered. We had ordered an appetizer and our dinners all at the same time. After our appetizer, we waited and waited. By the time our dinners came out, we had been seated for 1.25 hours, and we had to pay and quickly have our dinners into takeaway containers because we were not expecting such delays when we arranged childcare. As parents of 4, this was our first date in almost 2 years, and the stress of the delays was disappointing. I am suprised – VERY suprised – we weren’t offered a complimentary dessert. Food was delicious… when we got home and reheated it in the microwave. It would have been nice to enjoy it while we were there, or to stay for dessert. NOTE: I understand it was Valentine’s Day and the staff was busy; however, customers around us who arrived AFTER us were already done with their meals before our dinners came out. **Editing to add that the onus for this snafu is not on the server. Instead, it is on management, for understaffing Valentine’s Day evening, so the few servers they had were overworked and errors were inevitable.**

Super yummy Italian dinner! We were here pretty early, so we were the only people sitting out on their patio overlooking a park. The food was delicious, especially the spaghetti with seafood. The red sauce on the pastas was very good and tasted like a fresh, homemade sauce. We also loved our desserts- tiramisu, lemon almond tart, and orange gelato!

Fabulous Italian food! It took about an hour to get our food, with a reservation, but it was well worth the wait. We had Carbonara, Lobster Ravioli and Veal Bracioletina. shrimp cocktail for a starter and dark chocolate cake to finish with coffee. So good!

This place is does not serve authentic Italian. In fact, it’s some of the worst food I’ve paid for.
The “Rigatoni Bolognese” was hunks of carrot, dried beef, and over cooked pasta coated in an orange mystery sludge. Truly, disgusting.
I would have sent it back, but I had already waited a half an hour for it, and the server, although very pleasant, was largely absent.
Please understand- there is no cream in Carbonara, nor is Canadian bacon a substitute for guanciale.
But, perhaps most un-Italian thing about this place is that they ran out of bread.
Two stars, for the patio and the wine.

Really good, and for a reasonable price too. Went here for Ándrea’s special birthday dinner. Dinner started with an antipasto with prosciutto de Parma which was excellent.
Ándrea had the breaded veal and I had the BRACIOLETINA DI VITELLO, that was near to the way my grandmother made it. Mushrooms were creamy and flavorful.
We shared a whole BOTTLE of a great Prosecco, shared dessert, with coffee and with the tip we were still under $150 (yes that is a lot of money but worth every penny for a special dinner). Service was wonderful and the place as spectacular with a lot of charm.
We will be back.
We did go back for New Year’s Eve 2018. Exceptional again!

Authentic Italian menu in a cozy atmosphere (often crowded in a good way) where the wait is usually worth what’s delivered in terms of delicious homemade food! Wine is fantastic & our server experienced. Highly recommend Cafe Strega! 5⭐️

Fantastic! North end of Boston style restaurant featuring Italian fare.. Walking in the entrance is the kitchen which I knew we would enjoy from the food being plated.
We both had the chicken parm with angel hair pasta which was perfect. Homemade bread is served with oil, cheese and balsamic to start off.
