This review is gonna sound crazy and I’m sure everybody is gonna think I’m a bot posting this, but I stopped in here passing through Columbia about a month ago. My first job was at a SS2 in high school so I hit these up every now and then for the sake of nostalgia. The dude here was working alone pretty late and I kind of expected him to tell me they were already breaking down for the night but he didn’t. Believe me when I say this dude made the PERFECT #13 Italian. Slicer was clean. Stations were clean. Sandwich was immaculate. The dude didn’t need to go this hard, nobody else was in here to witness it, but he had a true love of the sandwich game on display. I had no cash on hand to tip but at least I can leave a review. I hope your manager sees this, king.

I had to repeat my order 5 five times to three different people. A lot of staff maybe too many. focus on the paying customer is missing. We ordered three Ham and Cheese. Two on Sweet Wheat and added Pepperoni on one. The last one was to be toasted with just Mayo. Not a very difficult order but it was very difficult for them to grasp and make. Sandwiches were ok.

I wish I could have rated the food but I didn’t even get a sub because I left. There was one kid behind the counter making subs at a snails speed and he was running out of everything while his coworkers sat over in the gas station watching him struggle with 4 people in line.

We have been stopping by this location for 2 years and have not had any problems up until two weeks ago. Two weeks ago there was no one that could slice the meat so we left without ordering. They had a closed sign on the counter. Today we stop and both employees have attitudes. Throwing the meat around and not giving napkins or utensils for salads. Customer service was terrible. Mad because she had one of the orders wrong and was asked politely to redo it. No respect very rude. Need the old employees back as they were very friendly and helpful. They even knew what we were going to order.
(Didn’t even take the wrapper off the pepperoni)

I went in today around 5 and the staff was totally awesome!! I had no choice but to tip all three of the m and the young lady always fixes my sandwich extremely well it’s my favorite spot

This location is horrible . The girl that’s always there around 5pm has the worst attitude and I believe she’s a shift leader , constantly rushing you saying she has to go home . Today she said she had completely shut down the line and they don’t close until 9pm . Said they didn’t have any tomatoes bc she wasn’t slicing anymore and had already washed dishes . Definitely my last visit

I use to eat here often because I work close by. The food is good but customer service is terrible. I sometimes prefer to use drive thru when I’m running late for work. Nobody has answered the phone in the past few months when I’ve tried to call in a drive thru order. Then when i go inside, nobody is in the line, one person behind the counter and everybody else are either outside or sitting in the dining area. I’m not going to take out my anger on the one person who is actually working while everybody else is milking the clock. My receipt has Dominik on it so hopefully he’ll get some recognition for his hard work.

They done went down hill. Now they make the salads ahead and give u only 2 tablespoons of meat. I used to enjoy going here but of lately, it sucks!

Like a dummy, I decided to give them another try. Wanted a scrap salad but they were out of meat. I then asked could I do a #19 as a salad. Was told no, there was nothing they could do. Every Substation 2 that I go to seems to have great service except this one. Time after time it’s some issue. The manager responded to my first review but best believe I never heard anything from anyone. The workers here always seem to have attitude and their customer service sucks. I only go here because it is literally down the street from my house but I will start going to the others before I step foot in this one again. Not that it matters to them.

If I could give no stars I would I usually come to this location because it is close to my house but will be driving to a different one from now on. This is not my first bad experience with this store. None of the employees wear mask. I recently had Covid-19 and to think someone is making my food with out a mask makes me uncomfortable and seems unsanitary. When I went in today there was 1 girl stocking while the other girl was taking orders and making them. Which is no problem but there was a line with 3 people ahead of me. As working in the food business for 5 years it is extremely unprofessional to do as so especially while a line is formed. (Poor time management) I always order all the way and every time something is left off today it was the onions I also ordered spinach that was not added either. On top of this when I was approached to start my order both girls started laughing as if it was at me or something? They were being VERY unprofessional as they continued to talk to a boy that was loitering in store with them. His distraction probably being the reason my sub was messed up. To end it all as I was about to pay for my sub the girl walked away and after my card was approved I had to reach over the register and serve myself the sub because she was no where to be found. Probably my worst experience ever. If I go back it’s to figure out their names so some type of management can better hire their employees. I don’t know how these girls still have a job. Very disappointed.

There pretty good. Good customer service. The only issue I came across few days ago, when they want to charge extra for every little item from lettuce to peppers. I’ve been going to substation for many years, never once charge extra for any items. Not sure what going, or there some misunderstanding. I always for years get extra toppings and never been charge extra. I got my receipt for proof just incase.
