Jamie was very rude thru drive thru when I went to pick up my order. It was supposed to be a mint Oreo with no whip she at first gave whip till my mother in law said “this was supposed to be with no whip” she snatched it back then I thought that was gonna be end of issues. I have screenshots and photos of the food looking horrible. On top of that a whole wrong milkshake. We live 5 mins down the road there’s no reason why my food should be ice cold. With no garlic. I go to call the store very politely at first talk to someone who may be able to fix issues but instead Jamie answered rudely by saying, yeah, I dealt with her when she came through the drive-through which, if she dealt with me, then she should’ve not messed up my order. It’s a simple job. If you can’t do it go find another one. Already dealt with before last time I went in there she was to busy talking some other employees gotta deal with her.

I’m no longer interested in these places. No servers. A fountain drink machine that you have to scan a receipt each time you want a refill… and more than half the time the scanner doesn’t even work. Steak N Shake has really declined in my own opinion.

One of my favorite steak and shakes! We used to live in Gainesville 10 years ago and we would frequent this location and last night we came down shopping and stopped for a late night meal. The grill cook Jerry was 5 stars in himself. His bright personality was a wonderful welcome to the front of the store. The steak burger he prepared was hands down the best I have ever had. Also, try the seasonal cookie butter/biscoff shake!! Delicious!! Highly recommend this location if you want a quality experience. Clean restaurant, good fresh food and service with a pleasant atmosphere!

Worst Steak ‘n Shake we’ve ever visited. It took 25 minutes from ordering to getting our food. You can only order off of a kiosk, and it asks for a tip. You have to scan a barcode to “unlock” the soda machine and if you like to mix sodas or you try to get one and only water comes out, once you stop dispensing one it locks and you don’t get anymore. Remember how it’s only kiosks? When you need to let someone know the soda is out, be careful. You try to ask for help and you’ll be scolded for not scanning your code. Didn’t even let me explain that I did that but the soda was out. Ordered my burger with onions (clearly shown on the receipt) and it came without. Even though it took almost a half hour, the fries were cold and soggy. Both stalls in the men’s room were overflowing with sewage. This location is horrendous. Go somewhere that wants your money.

It was not busy but we ordered at kiosk and sat down to wait. Called my name and i picked up food but the kids shakes were not ready for several more minutes. A few minutes later they called my name again, i picked up shakes and sat down to eat and noticed my cheeseburger had no onions so i took it to the counter and told the lady working and she handed me a small cup with a few onion slices in it so i walked back to table and made my cheeseburger correctly. Daughter told me she ordered a small nutella shake an received a medium chocolate something. Went back to counter, received the correct shake but realized the side of ranch we paid for was missing so I went back to counter to pick up. This location is missing attention to the small things that make the classic steaknshake experience worth it. We were not offered any apologies, some manager training would go a long way.

Not good. There are a gazillion other fast food options around. Choose one of those. So, you can only order from a kiosk. Fair enough. Oh and the kiosk asks you for a tip. (Really?) But the food – it’s bad. (It took forever to come out btw). It’s so weird, I’ve been eating Steak ‘n Shake my whole life, it’s never tasted like this. The buns were stone cold and hard. Which in itself can ruin a burger. But the rest was horrible too. Very dry and zero tasty. When we get takeout from our local Steak n’ Shake, it’s always super fresh, yummy and juicy. This location…all around no bueno. Oh, and it was hot and stuffy in the dining room. Not a great atmosphere in which to eat a meal. Don’t do it. Just don’t.

It’s not the employees, it’s the restaurant itself as to why there are not more stars. Food and staff were excellent! Restaurant was clean, everything! However, what I absolutely HATED was the self checkout and the “you need a ticket for a drink”! They are taking jobs away from people who need it by replacing the front person and the servers who used to come out and so on. NOT OK! And can’t say it’s the homeless or people stealing drinks either because they used to bring it themselves from behind the counter. There is nothing wrong with customer interaction so quit trying to get rid of it!
