A great experience for a meetup with a dear friend. I love that you’re greeted with the phrase “Welcome home.” Joie provided amazing service, compete with a beautiful smile and a great vibe. The drinks, while very tasty, we’re a bit on the light side. But the flavors of the dishes were incredible! We ordered 3 appetizers: the Dream Eggs, Fried Green Tomatoes, and Trinity Eggrolls. For entrees: Chicken Fried chicken and the Stuffed Salmon. (Check out their menu to drool over the descriptions!) While pricey, it was very worth it. And as Joie recommended, we will definitely return for brunch soon!

Kitchen + Kocktails is a beautiful, beautiful, beautiful establishment. From the moment you walk in, the ambiance is warm, welcoming, and visually stunning. The atmosphere alone sets high expectations for the experience.

Our server, Ky, was truly amazing. Considering everything she had to manage that night, she was exceptional. She remained attentive, kind, and professional throughout and genuinely tried her best to make things right.

Taste-wise, the food was pretty good overall. I also ordered the fried green tomatoes. While what came out did not visually match the picture shown on the menu and wasn’t as beautiful presentation-wise, the dish did taste really good, so I’ll absolutely give credit for flavor.

Unfortunately, there were some disappointments that affected the overall experience. I ordered the seafood gumbo, and it arrived with no seafood at all. After sending it back once and receiving the same result again, I ultimately switched to the jerk chicken. Even on the second attempt, the gumbo only had a single crab leg sticking out—no shrimp, no crab claws, and nothing else mentioned in the menu description. That was especially frustrating given how hard our wonderful server worked to try to get it corrected.

Dessert didn’t quite land either. I ordered the peach cobbler, which should have been served warm so the ice cream on top could melt, but it wasn’t warm at all. At that point, I knew it just wasn’t my night—period.

What did make the night enjoyable was the live music. A saxophonist was performing who happens to be a really great friend of mine, and I had no idea he would be there. His performance was excellent and truly helped balance out some of the disappointments, making the evening more enjoyable.

Overall, I would still recommend this establishment and would be open to visiting again, hopefully with a better experience that aligns with the price point. Being a bit more mindful with my order next time may help, but consistency in execution is important.

All in all, it was a wonderful evening spent with my sister, and I’m glad we went out and tried this restaurant. I’ll give Kitchen & Cocktails another try, hoping for a smoother experience next time.

The place was well organized and staff worked really well together. Had reservations and sat in the bar area. It was not super busy and food came out pretty reasonably. Food was absolutely delicious. I don’t normally eat cauliflower bites but they were outstanding along with the catfish strips also. Caribbean jerk lamb chops where really good despite slightly over flavored. Lobster was delicious and moist. The drinks were very tasty and well crafted. My only gripe which was major was the music. It was way too loud and almost killed the vibe for a nice date. As a war vet with hearing loss, the loud music made it difficult to enjoy my date and enjoy our time together. I would really like to go back and try all of the menu as what I had was delicious, but the music being way too loud to enjoy company and the wonderful food and drinks. I don’t want to club and eat and drink delicious food.

Kayla was my server, and I had to leave a review because she honestly made my whole weekend. I came to Kitchen & Kocktails two nights in a row and had her both times, just because I had so much fun the first night that I literally wanted the same experience again.

Friday was a Galentine’s dinner with my friends, and from the moment we sat down Kayla’s personality was amazing—funny, attentive, and she knew the menu like the back of her hand. She recommended the Pink Blush, a few of our appetizers, the KK Lemon Drop, and even gave us entrée advice, and NOTHING she recommended disappointed. That night I had gumbo, fried lobster, and beef short rib with mashed potatoes, broccoli, and carrots, and everything was cooked perfectly and full of flavor. She kept checking on us, laughing with us, and really made the night feel special instead of just another dinner out.

She was so amazing that I came back Saturday evening and specifically requested her again for my dinner with my husband. She remembered me, had the same great energy, and the service was just as perfect. That night I did the surf and turf with lobster and grilled lamb chops, and everything was just as good as the night before.

The food, the music, the vibe, and especially Kayla’s service made it worth coming back-to-back nights. She really made my whole weekend, and I’ll definitely be back to sit in her section every time—somebody send me Kayla’s schedule lol. If you go to Kitchen & Kocktails, ask for Kayla. You won’t be disappointed.

Five stars truly aren’t enough for Kitchen & Kocktails by Kevin Kelley on Broad Street! From the warm welcome to the exceptional service, everything about our experience was top tier.
We were greeted by Mr. Brown, the General Manager, and had the pleasure of meeting Executive Chef Deavon — both absolute class acts who made us feel so valued. And the star of our day was our server, Nikki! Her vibrant personality and spot-on food recommendations made the experience so much fun!!!
The food was a 10/10 — the lamb chops were divine and the catfish absolutely goes hard! We haven’t had food that good in a long time, and it was worth every bite.
If you’re in the Philadelphia area, this is a must-try.

The atmosphere at this restaurant is amazing. Make reservations and be prepared to wait a little, the food is worth it. The servers are good and the runners are good, this place is just that packed. The drinks are top notch, so just sit back, relax, have a drink while waiting for the absolutely worth it food. Highly recommend the Lamb chops and the catfish, can’t go wrong with the grits. I’ll return for sure.

1st time visiting for Mom’s birthday brunch. The restaurant is beautiful, the dj was vibing, the service was excellent, and the food was delicious. If you are lucky enough to be served by Munerrah S, then you are in the hands of one of the best. Dishes I recommend are the Seafood Platters, the chargrilled oysters, fried green tomatoes, dream eggs with blackend shrimp; and the most flavorful Surf & Turf consisting of jerk lamb chops and a fried lobster tail. Both were melt-in-your-mouth delightful. And, do not sleep on the frozen patron margarita or thebtaosted marshmellow espresso martini! The only reason for the 4stars on the food was b/c our entrees were a little lukewarm.

Celebrated a birthday there and the experience was GREAT! The staff was awesome! Out waiter Steven was so friendly and accommodating. He made good suggestions as well. The hostess Mani was welcoming and pleasant, even came back and checked on us. Everyone was smiling, working and delightful. My food was fabulous, well seasoned and came out fast! Grilled oysters where chefs kiss. Can’t wait to go back

First time at the restaurant and the experience was awesome! Our server Isaiah was so respectful and very knowledgeable of all the services offered at the restaurant. He gave us great suggestions for the appetizers and drinks. I will 1000% be returning to enjoy another great experience. My rating for the food was 4 stars only because the sides can do with a bit more tweaking such a southern soul and seasoning. The yams were soooooo good that I could’ve had a whole pot to go! Overall, the experience was amazing and so worth it.

I have been to K&K in Chicago and now in Philly and I still love it. The food is amazing and the service is unmatched. Security was welcoming at the door and politely enforced their dress code. Our server Selena paced our meal well and was knowledgeable about the menu items. She was friendly and made us feel at home. The manager stopped by and greeted us with a special surprise. Loved the music and decor. Thank you for a great experience!
