I did it! I found the world’s greatest server! His name is Zeus, and he is incredible. He’s far cooler than even his name, and his name is fantastic!

They have an excellent Margarita called the ‘El Jefe’. It’s a lot of drink for the money.

Beautiful restaurant. Loved our experience there in gilbert. I’ve been to the Chandler location many times, but several years ago. We were a party of nine, and Abuelo’s was very accommodating. Very highly recommend you give them a try!

Great ambience and tasty food!!! ordered the chicken empanadas, Juarez Combo, and tres leches cake. Everything was delicious and freshly made. The empanadas could have had a bit more chicken filling, but they were still really tasty. The Juarez Combo was satisfying and flavorful, and the tres leches cake was the perfect sweet finish. The staff was also very friendly and welcoming, which made the experience even better. Overall, a very pleasant dining experience in a cozy setting. Will definitely visit again!

I’m not sure how I was able to walk to my car after dinner tonight. OMG had the sea bass with Guerrero sauce with cilantro rice and veggies medley. It was amaaaaaaaazing. On top of the great atmosphere Matthew our waiter was incredible!!!!! If you eat here ask to be sat with him you will be well taken care of for sure!!!!! Even my 10yr old kid commented how great he was.

I had a nice dinner there. I really liked the patio which was quiet although the restaurant is located close to a major road. The food was good. The chips were fresh and the salsa could have been a bit more seasoned. The mashed potatoes were a welcomed variation to the traditional Mexican rice that is typically served with chimichanga’s. Although, I didn’t try the fajitas, they did look excellent with a big portion size. The staff was also very friendly.

Our server Joey was awesome. He was very friendly and checked on us often making it an even greater experience!

First time here. Ordered Steak Raja – presentation was nice however the food was a little bland. Ordered Chicken Fajita Tacos – no flavour, could make this myself at home, nothing special. The service was excellent! The atmosphere is very nice and clean. The drinks we had were excellent as well.

I was happy to see this restaurant in Phoenix. Our Indiana location closed a few years ago. Great vegan options. Delicious. The food is as good as I remembered and our server was excellent. Very personable and took care of us well. Sure wish they’d come back north again.

Definitely try this one. A friend recommended it to us and it did not disappoint. The fajita steak was cooked to perfection- so tender! The salsas and sauces were savory and delicious. We have been looking for a good sit-down Mexican restaurant and this one fits the bill nicely. Well worth the 40 mile round trip for us. The prices were very reasonable. The restaurant itself is beautiful, nice ambiance. The service matched the food and the surroundings. Overall an excellent experience.

I remember visiting this place throughout my childhood at locations in Lubbock and here in Chandler. Haven’t been in ages! The food was amazing and we had great service. Best tex Mex around! I miss the water falls or fountians though. It really added to the atmosphere when I was younger but must be difficult to upkeep overtime. I will be back!

Went out after a long week. There was a 20 to 30 min wait so we hit the bar. All 3 bartenders were amazing , and we ended up staying at the bar for dinner. The mango margarita is so yummy. We did the sampler dip appetizer, and it’s so worth it. Not pictured were our enchiladas and taco. I’m so glad we went here. This is our monthly date night spot. Wish I would have got the other 2 bartenders’ names, but Zeus was amazing and helpful. Thank you for another great visit.

We love abuelos. We go back for date night and double date night with our friends. It’s our favorite spot
