Our waitress Zooey was super nice and efficient! The menu choices were a food lovers dream including a terrific cup of coffee. My husband enjoyed his meal just as much. We don’t have Bob Evans near us at home in Florida or Oklahoma so was such a treat!

The staff was very friendly and personable. They were able to suggest ways to maximize our order to fit what we want. The food is classic cuisine done well. Omelets, skillets, hotcakes, burgers, country fried….you name it. I personally like it. If you like this kind of food, this location is worth a try. If you don’t like it, why are you reading the reviews?

Just how I remembered it as a kid. Working out of town and found this gem. They haven’t had a Bob Evans by me for years and years. The biscuits and gravy are amazing. Great service, great price. I’ll definitely become a regular there as long as I’m working in Decatur.

I ordered biscuits and gravy and eggs, and then I decided also to have sausage links. It was all very good. I particularly liked the gravy because it seemed very home made and rich. our server was very friendly, and she checked on us frequently. I’m sure we will be back again! BTW my friend had the blueberry pancakes. the serving was huge and she said they were excellent as well.

The restaurant had dirty tables, just sitting around while employees played around! Watching the “manger” Emily go take a break instead of helping customers, blew our minds. Not only was food was cold, but it was bland and tasteless just like said manger! Do better bob Evan’s !

I had breakfast for dinner tonight “down on the farm” with the Decatur Bob Evans crew. I went “whole hog” …literally. The two strips of bacon qere awesome. Thin, crispy amd good flavor. The two sausage links were also good. The two sausage patties were okay..think “brown and serve”. … but cooked up nicely. ..and then a tasty slice of breakfast ham. The second plate had a large.pancale and then basically a French toast…. add butter and shrup.. Yum
..bottomless black coffee and good service
Thanks ladies !

Based on a dine-in experience mid afternoon:
It wasn’t busy at all, we were greeted and we were sat down immediately. A young lady took our drink orders and came night back—quick. A friend in my group ordered the sweet cream cold brew—way too much cream for this standard.
The meal:
Everyone ordered and the delicious food came to the table—my friend’s food had a hair in it. The plate was taken away to be remade, but it was brought back by the manager as a replate not remade. His pancakes were undercooked and tasted raw.
Our waitress left for the day and no one said a thing to us—the replacement waitress came by twice and then disappeared.
At the end of the meal, the manager could care less about fixing the problem especially when giving us a discount on the bill.
If you go it’ll be a hit or miss experience.

Most tables had crumbs, and the portions seemed smaller than other locations, staff was good, check out was slow.
