My fiancé and I went for our first time tonight, had a lovely experience, and this will definitely be our sushi place going forward. If you’re looking for a particular ambience, this may disappoint, but it is cozy and clean. The restaurant is run and owned by a husband and wife team, both of which were very warm and gracious. The prices were very fair and the sushi was delicious (with an enormous selection). We had seaweed salad, miso, edamame, three specialty rolls and two basic rolls (we were celebrating) and enjoyed it all. They even threw in a green tea cheesecake just because.
My only wish list item is that they add yellowtail to their selection sometime. All in all, I would recommend Ming Ming to anyone!

Cute little place, glad we found it! Everything was delicious and the service was superb. I’m not even usually a big fan of sushi myself and ordered an extra roll street I devoured my first one. All four of us were very happy with our meals and highly recommend this gem.

This has been one of my families favorite places to eat (and favorite sushi specifically) for many years. It is incredibly well priced and delicious! The family who owns this restaurant is incredibly kind and hard working. I have yet to ever order something from here that I didn’t love! I can’t wait to keep coming back for many more years. Ming Ming Tea is the most perfect place to have a chill and peaceful meal! They are so kind here and provide the most quality food and service. The UFO roll is hands down the best sushi roll i’ve ever had. This is a must go to place!!!

I am so spoiled by the food and service at Ming Ming. The sushi is not the same old/same old rolls, these are not only delicious but also beautiful. As the name suggests there is also a very wide variety of teas available as well. There is also boba (yummy!). BTW the sushi menu has so many choices, give yourself enough time to look through the whole menu. Ming Ming is my go-to for sushi in St Pete

For over a year, we’ve been ordering the same sushi every month—avocado sushi. As vegans, we absolutely love it! The quality is always fresh, and the flavors are spot on. The staff is also amazing; the lady taking our orders knows exactly what we want before we even say it. Highly recommend if you’re looking for delicious vegan sushi!

If you love excellent and fresh sushi, and your main concern is not ambience, this place is for you. They have such a variety of sushi selection and boba tea that it took me a while to go over the menu to decide what to order.
The only thing I would change is the service hours. If a business is listed open until 8 pm, customers are expected to be served at least until 15-30 minutes before the closing time.
You can still order take out, but you will not be served in the restaurant. I can see why it has caused frustration for some.
Overall I totally recommend this authentic sushi place. Just be there early, before 7 pm, or order a take out.

Best place for sushi hands down!!! Been coming here for awhile now and its consistency and quality are always the best. Prices are amazing, you will not find better in the area. Skip the hipster places down town and come eat something you can be happy with.
