A quaint little place with a decent menu. Some items were well priced($10.99 fish/shrimp special) while others($11.50 ham/cheese sandwich) were overpriced. Unfortunately all the food we had was very bland. The worst was my undercooked/partly raw fried fish. Yuck. The waitress never checked on us and I had to flag her three times before she finally came over when we needed our check. They were not busy.

Wait staff was amazing. Everything we had was A+…Cheeseburger with grilled Jalepenos and mushrooms, chicken strips and chicken fried chicken(hand battered). DosXXX super cold and dressed nicely and they made a fantastic Chilton with lime!!

Its a quaint little place the could use a better cook. The wait staff amd bar attendant are just super people. Its not terrible food, but it could be better for the reason you are the only place on the main hi way for a while. The staff saves the day with all their energy and enthusiasm.

Went here in the morning for breakfast, and the food was delicious. We ordered a breakfast burrito, French toast, and a double stack of pancakes, and everything came out hot and fresh. Lots of food for the money, as it should be the case for any local diner selling southern comfort food.
Service was great, food came out quickly, and the atmosphere was what you’d expect for a little place in between towns out here in the piney woods. Laid back and casual.

Drove 49 miles just to have breakfast here. Well Julie was great our waitress. She was right on top of everything. Our food was amazing. Dana was the cook everything was made just right. They have a small menu for breakfast but it’s breakfast food at it’s best. Definitely home cooking skills was showing. Very comfortable environment, calm, and pleasant. Huge portions! Priced very well

Great place to grab a bite. Hometown diner feel. Price for a breakfast for 2 almost felt like we stole it!

Cool local place. They’ve updated the interior and tweaked the menu. Still a good value and variety. Old school greasy spoon style diner food. Sausage gravy was good. Service was good. Pancakes were good. Eggs and hash browns were aight. I prefer lunch or dinner here.

Great menu, hard to choose from so many delicious sounding home style items. Dining room was clean and not too crowded on Sunday father’s day. It was very quiet and comfortable. There seem to only be one person working front of house as cashier and server. Probably the most unfriendly service worker I’ve ever come across and 40 years. Literally did not say hello when I greeted her. Did not say a word when I said Thank you. Rude. But the food made up for it. Each plate which was about $16 was enough for two meals or two people. Delicious. Kudos to the kitchen staff and whoever came up with this menu!

I’ve lived here most of my life and seen many owners come and go. Since the new owners took over they’ve upgraded alot of the visual aspects of the restraunt and made it nice but unfortunately the food quality, cooking, and prices are still sub-par.
