Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn’t help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we’re still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

I come here often to eat, due to the quick service, good quality of food, and great service. Finally writing a review because Ally went above the normal experience and was making myself and other visitors feel welcome and at home while bringing out our orders!

We visited 1/25/26 at 11:44 a.m. and our cashiers name on the receipt is Alessandra.
The service provided here was the best of any dining experience that I can remember recently.
The young woman who took our order was being trained by another young woman.
If there’s a manager reading this, we could tell that the trainer was invested in her job and the store. She was a good teacher and her trainee was also great with customer service.
We don’t have Whataburger in our area and they were patient and helped answer questions about the menu. They read the order back for accuracy.
The store and parking lot were spotless and the food tasted great.

Everyone here is so chill and the food comes out quick. It means that if a Whataburger is bad, it isn’t the brands fault. Fantastic food, and great customer service. Tableside service. Well deserved 5 stars, I wish I could give more stars!!!

I came in with my husband on Sunday and was greeted by Ally at the register. She was very kind, friendly, and super attentive. We noticed throughout our dine-in experience that she was a very hard worker and maintained a great attitude. Great service is hard to come by nowadays but she made our day! She definitely needs a raise.

I always go in late at night, early morning depending on your day. I do have to stand there until I’m acknowledged which usual is about 5 mins. Most of the overnight staff ignore you until they can’t no more. I order online and still have to wait between 10 and 15mins and there is something always missing but I check before I leave so it’s taken care of. There is no sense of urgency in getting orders out, I work in Food Industry and would never tolerate such apathy in staff no smiles, no greetings, no happiness. I guess they don’t need their jobs they sure don’t act like it. But as usual the food is great and that’s what keeps me coming back.

This was my first experience at Whataburger and it was really good! Incredible service, loved the cashiers here. The portions are huge, the milkshake tasted like frostys, the chicken BBQ tender sandwich was incredible, and the hamburger portion was also big. Great fries too. The radio was also great. Overall, will come back. Much better than In n Out.

I have heard of this place a few times. While on vacation the kids wanted to try it out. They were ok with it. I personally was not impressed with it. Food at McDonald’s is better. The store could have been a lot cleaner and staff could have at least seemed to be more happy to serve us.
