Man, I usually love this place. Every experience up until my last visit has been great – which is why I gave it 3 stars. If this were my first visit it would be less but I’ve previously had excellent food here and just want to bring awareness to the owner of my last experience. I always come here for the amazing vegan AND gluten free options. It’s a rarity for me to find both. The burgers ALWAYS tasted so amazing like old fashioned burgers I used to get as a kid from places just like this but the last time I was there on Friday afternoon December 5th my burger and bun were burnt and dry as heck. I’m willing to pay $20 for a vegan gluten free burger when it’s good but this just felt like a waste of money. :'(

I was honestly so impressed with Wally’s Drive-In!! It’s pretty rare to find a full vegan burger option in a small town, so I was already excited — but they completely exceeded my expectations. The burger was incredibly flavorful, juicy, and absolutely delicious You can tell care goes into the food.

The fries were just as good — not greasy, not overly salty, just perfectly cooked.

I’ll definitely be coming back. So happy to have a spot like this in Buckley!

On a day trip around Mt Rainier and as soon as we drove by, we stopped and immediately turned around and ate here. Such an awesome drive in experience, order & eat in your car. Very fast service! The burgers were huge and tasted delicious. The best part… order a large ice cream cone and it comes out on the tiniest cone lol. I got such a good laugh and smiles from this. Love the atmosphere here overall, had a wonderful experience.

Eating hair for the first time while heading to go watch Weird Al at the amphitheater was great burgers were awesome prawns were the best french fries were okay. The only one thing I disliked was that they were playing country music but it is what it is. I definitely will come back in the future for another Wally Burger. I do loved the peanut butter and hot fudge milkshake though that actually was the greatest

Wallys has always been a great place to eat. They just recently raised the prices and now it is not worth it. Nearly 7 dollars for an onion ring that comes with 5 onion rings!? Come on, thats ridiculous. Every menu item raised by not cents, but dollars. For a wally whopper, a fry and an onion ring, I paid $32 (with 10% tip). If I would have ordered a drink or a milkshake it would have been closer to 40 bucks! Thats insane. Im sorry, but i will not be eating here anymore and I cannot recommend eating here for the price. The food is good, but not $30+ per person good. A family of 4 could easily spend over $100 for fast food! That is absolutely insane!!

Burgers were great. Just wish they toasted the buns. And if it is toasted, maybe a bit longer on the grill. The wait staff are really nice. Fun place to go. Service was slow’ish. But it is a Saturday night so understandable

Great stop in Buckley for some burgers. I recommend getting the tater tots and a milkshake. The clam chowder had a heavier potato flavor, still tasty! Nice and creamy.
I like how restaurant sits right off the hwy and at an intersection making it easy to get to and from it. There is a city park located behind, and sitting in the covered area (6 tables), you can see your kids play.

Tried Wally’s as our first dinner out since my wife’s hospitalization. Being able to have a drive-in meal of good food and quick service made the half hour drive worthwhile. I recommend the Rodeo burger, fries, and a chocolate shake. My wife chose the junior cheeseburger, fries, cole slaw, and a coke. We both came home satisfied.

Absolutely delicious! I’m from SoCal and this place DEFINITELY beats InNOut. Mind you, InNOut has been my favorite burger place since I was a little kid…nothing ever beat it until I came here. If I lived a bit closer, I’d be here way more often!

We are visiting the area and found this place after a 7-mile hike at Rainier with our 3 kids. The burgers here are DELICIOUS and absolutely hit the spot after spending a day on the trail. Really, everything we got was tasty. The order of fries is pretty good sized so unless you are super hungry you can probably split one if you’re also getting a burger and saving room for a shake.
