Everything was incredible. The staff were attentive and friendly, giving us great recommendations throughout the evening. We were even surprised with a complimentary starter, which was a wonderful touch. Then we enjoyed the Chicken Tikka Masala — it was absolutely delicious, rich in flavor and perfectly cooked. To finish, we had a dessert tasting that was the perfect ending to an amazing meal.
The wine list was excellent, and the overall experience exceeded our expectations. We will definitely come back next time we’re in London.
Thank you so much, Sultan, for the wonderful service!
We came back yesterday thanks to the previous experience but we left disappointed.
Portion size has gone down for the same price, and quality is good, but not mind blowing. With 4 people we ordered 4 starters, 4 mains, and several side dishes, and we left quite hungry still.
Butter chicken was okay, decent. Dal Makhani was just bad. We spent £42/person and did not have any alcohol, which shows the increase in prices/decrease in quantity from about 6 months ago.
Their naan is amazing, and you can’t fault the service, but unfortunately, it wasn’t a great experience.
The mains were even better. The Chicken Jalfezi had the perfect balance of heat and spice, absolutely bursting with flavour. The Sizzling Chicken Tikka Shaslik arrived still crackling away and tasted every bit as amazing as it looked. And the Chicken Tikka Butter Chicken Masala… honestly, cooked to perfection — rich, creamy, and just delicious.
A huge shout-out to Sam, who looked after us all evening. He was so knowledgeable about the menu, made great recommendations, and had such good craic with us — really added to the whole experience.
The Rosé wine was gorgeous too and paired perfectly with everything we ordered.
All round, it was one of those meals where every dish is a hit and the service makes you feel genuinely welcome. We’ll definitely be back — already looking forward to the next visit!
And they couldn’t off looked after us more.
I would highly recommend the food here and there is a reason why they have recently been granted the reward of the best Indian restaurant in Southwark.
