We stayed here in our RV as they are a harvest host location. Since we were staying here we decided to have dinner here also.
The inside decor is very nice and they relate to the fact it was originally a cotton gin.
The service was excellent and so was the food. I had the cedar plank salmon and my wife had the chicken fried steak. Both meals were excellent as well as the sides. We specially liked the creamed spinach.
Great restaurant and worth the trip.

First we arrived around 8pm and it took about 10 minutes before we were acknowledged. We ordered our food and were informed they were out of the mac and cheese, so my wife ordered a baked potato. About 25 minutes later the waiter came back to our table and said another table had taken all of the baked potatoes so my wife ordered a sweet potato. About 10 minutes later the waiter then asked if we wanted drink refills. We said yes and he asked what we were drinking and my wife told him sweet tea, the same as she had originally ordered. He then informed us that at over 2 hours prior to them closing, in West Texas, they are out of sweet tea and not making more. I got frustrated and the only other occupied table told us they had been waiting over an hour and a half for their food. I then at that point told the waiter we no longer wanted our order and were leaving, but were still willing to pay for our drinks which he said were on the house. From the pictures you can see the atmosphere in the restaurant is nice (why it got more than 1 star). You can also see the place was empty. They need to hire more staff to work on a Saturday evening, a prime time for people to go out to eat. This was our first time here and will likely be our last unless major changes are made.

Great service, excellent food, and even better ambience. This is an amazing add to the San Angelo area food offerings and is a step above most with the physical layout. The food took quite a while to come out, hence the 4 stars. We will definitely be back! Enjoy/disfruta!

We stayed overnight as Harvest Hosts members and had dinner here. Great staff and menu.

Overnight accommodations were fine for a night. Lots of space for our 35ft RV. Lots of lighting in the parking lot which made it difficult to sleep with blinds open for a breeze. Super quiet. Might not recommend it for heavy rains.

The food and service is good. Not real pricey. I would suggest they put some effort into the salad bar. Went for our anniversary. Arrived around 530 and salad bar looked like it had been out for hours.

Food not worth it. First visit was a Sunday morning and out of creamed spinach and chicken fry was dry and touch. Thought we’d take another turn and try again today 4/16/21.

*First men’s room no soap. And this was at 11:20 am.
*My silverware was not only wet but dirty.
*Salad bar had an almost empty penne pasta container as if chilled from the day before and served again. It should have been full.
*Our meal was the special which was fried or baked catfish with one side $10. From the picks you can tell my fish pieces were small and did not have the fish flesh it should have—-seemed more like a Catholic portion instead of a west Texas sized meal of home-cooking.
*My baked sweet potato was warm only but looked as if it were charred on the outside. They did replace it with a HOT one.

We told the manager of all the issues and there was ZERO offer for replacement or discount.

The atmosphere is awesome, but without great food, it’s just a pretty place.

Great place, awesome food and drinks, but wait time is long since they are still new and don’t have many waiters.
