My FAVOURITE Burger place in Cambridge!
What we usually order…
– Chilli Burger (swap Beef for Chicken, you can choose between grilled or buttermilk)
– The Clucky Burger
– Tater Tots
– Sweet Potatoe Fries
– Chipotle Sauce (a must try esp with the Tater Tots or to put in your Burger )
– Any of the Milkshakes!
– Courgette Fries (please bring them back!)
– Soda Folk Cherry Drink (again, pleaseeee being this back, it tasted just like the fizzy cherry cola bottles)
The staff here are EXCEPTIONAL! Be it on the phone or in person, they really accommodate & provide an exceptional service, so thank you, it hasn’t gone unseen the kindness & accuracy of your service everytime we visit.
We regularly visit the hospital in Cambridge, so we are quiet regular customers here as it is a meal we know wont let us down! Sometimes we have dined in, or sometimes we have ordered via deliveroo if we are staying alot longer (deliveroo dont give you the option to change beef to chicken on some of the deliveroo menu, so we need to call Byron directly to request the changes), and these guys always make sure EVERYTHING is spot on for us. They dont hesitate to help, nothing is too much trouble, majority of the time they dont even know we are staying at the hospital for long periods of time, so this is a service they provide consistently to everyone, how lovely is that!
It is so important when you aren’t in the comfort of your own home, trying to figure our food options in an unfamiliar town, so thank you for being so accommodating. You are our go-to, no-faff, the most reliable resturant in Cambridge where we know what we order is what we will get, especially for thoes days when we have an unexpected visit to the hopsital, we know we can count on Byron for a really decent meal & ensuring everything we have ordered is fresh & in the bag. I thought it was so important to mention this in my review

Oh sign up to their loyalty online, you get a free burger on your birthday
Everything is on the ground floor if you are visiting in person, so it is really Accesible, although I think the doors are manual opening doors. They have toilets, but I dont think they are entirely step free.
️ Parking is really tricky but it is well worth visiting! Everyone needs experience Byron Burger atleast once in their lifetime

Stopped for a quick lunch at Byron. It was an amazing experience. Mario was super kind and helpful. Had the best Chicken Tenders I’ve had in a while. Ambience is well lit and clean too. Definitely recommend if you’re in Cambridge! ⭐️

Absolutely not the Byron I used to know. It was once one of my favourites, but not anymore. Prices have gone up while both quality and portion sizes have gone down, so it’s just not worth it anymore.
You’re no longer allowed to have your burger cooked pink—only well done. The patty is very small for the price, and £5 for a tiny portion of fries is unreasonable.
Overall, I wouldn’t recommend it anymore. Five Guys or even Burger King offer much better value for money.

a must-eat as you visit Cambridge. Byron is a chain and I fortunately came to the oldest one. the vibe was perfect and the clerks were extremely courteous and cute – they asked me four times about the satisfaction of foods even i just ordered a breakfast plate and a black coffee. ☕️ One thing not fits me is the saltiness, but i believe it’s my different eating habits.

Byron have certainly reached the upper end of the price point, having chips as an extra. The Byron burger combo still tastes nice but they are all cooked to same now, so no more medium rare. Think this makes the burgers a bit dryer than before. The chicken tender were great, huge, tender but crispy on the outside. The fries are good. House slaw leaves something to be desired – a lot of cabbage. Usually we’d have an Oreo shake as they are great but the price put us off this time. Drinks menu has been cut, as we missed the root beer.

I am coeliac and I visited here for the first time this evening and it was lovely. Mario was extremely helpful and I was given an iPad which listed everything I could eat. I had the Byron burger with a double patty and the potato tots, but I could have chosen fries, or sweet potato fries too. The burger was delicious — the stack was full of freshness, flavour and cooked to perfection . It was delicious. I then finished off my meal with the caramel brownie, which wasn’t dense and bland, as other gluten free brownies often are, but it was soft and light, and I can honestly say that I thoroughly enjoyed my meal. The staff here were so welcoming and caring too and I would recommend this place to others.
