We really like WaBa Grill. We eat here every time we come to California. It’s an inexpensive option that comes with plenty of food.

We bought the sweet and spicy chicken veggie bowl and gyoza. It was all perfect. We love the WaBa sauce too.

Go there. You won’t be disappointed.

The amount of steak included in the bowl for $14 is pathetic. Not including any drinks or sides at that price. I leave hungry and disappointed in with this experience at WaBa. There are so many places I can get a full meal, food, drink and side for around that price and be full. Absolutely unacceptable.

Not to mention the blatant false advertising. Their pictures of the steak bowl look nothing like what I received, in quantity or appearance.

I ordered through the app at the hotel and went to pick it up, and the food came out just in time. Both menus were delicious and good with cold beer.

Tried Waba Grill for the first time today and loved it! Their vegan steak option is incredible. The portions are great for the price too. We’ll definitely be back.

I normally don’t like to post negative reviews unless absolutely necessary. I don’t have time to waste. But today was just terrible. I already think Waba Grill is pricey, but they really did me dirty today. Look at my picture, mostly rice and a few pieces of protein. Plus paid an additional $3 for avocado. I paid $15 for a bowl of rice. Do not go to this waba grill. Plus the cashier is also the server.

As far as a WaBa Grill is concerned… This one is lacking the WaBa love that others have… The WaBa in Temecula, makes this one look like it is a knock-off. The service here was slow and lacking personality. The decor was boring and bland. Like mentioned before, WaBa in other locations have surf/beach theme with music playing to match… Not this place. Food was OK. Not real flavorful and seemed to need more sauce to enjoy it than I would have liked to use. I’m not critical, just honest with the 3 stars. Not like some who use a one star with a not so great visit… Just not impressed. Not worth the money. I will drive out of my way to visit other locations that have better service, decor and food.

It was okay. I threw on the avocado from “home” and it made it better but the chicken portion was extremely skimpy, 75% was rice. There was no sauce on the chicken and rice, it was my first time here, and I suppose I don’t know how to order it? Yeah right, it’s a standard Yoshi’s, teriyaki, fast Asian place. I just don’t understand how this is $13. If you’re like me and camping out of a hotel room, this is better than a can of beans and tuna packets. Just not much bang for your buck.

Edit: I contacted the WaBa customer service and they never replied, I decided to give this place another go anyways. The portion was way better, night, and day difference. I also realized that you need to put your own sauce on, oh, okay. They forgot the spicy carrot/jalapeno mix, but I know they aren’t robots. Overall, a fast and healthy option.

I’ve enjoyed coming to this location for the food but not for customer service up until recently. There seems to be a different girl cashier. I never got her name. I’ve had her ask me and While waiting in line I’ve heard more than once now when she asks the customer if they would like their remaining change back which I don’t find professional because shouldn’t I receive all my change back regardless of the amount. Of course I would like my change back! When she asked me this I was confused because why wouldn’t I want it back. I had looked over and she had a pile of change sitting there with no shame asking customers if they would like their change back. Completely unacceptable.
