OUR TRADITION OF FINE FOOD AND GUEST SERVICE began in September of 1996 when our first Bandana’s BAR-B-Q opened in Arnold, Missouri. Today, that mission remains the same, to provide the best Southern Style BAR-B-Q, with exceptionally quick service, in a friendly, family atmosphere. Our real wood pit smokers operate 24 hours a day, which is why you can SMELL THAT SMOKE every time you come to Bandana’s BAR-B-Q. Our meats are hand-rubbed before they go into the smoker. This is how we apply our special Bandana’s Dry Rub, which contains over a dozen herbs and spices. This combination requires 11 to 14 hours in the smoker to produce our signature Bandana’s BAR-B-Q taste. The BAR-B-Q then goes straight from the smoker and is hand-cut to order.

Wife and I went there, I spent $30 total. Wife had ribs with 2 sides and a bread stick. Tell me why the bread was bigger than the 2 ribs that were on her plate. The ribs barely had any meat on the bone. You might as well just dipped your finger in the seasoning they used for it and sucked it off that’s how little meat it had. I had a chicken swiss sandwich with fries. I was thinking it was going to be a good size sandwich. Nope I could’ve made that exact sandwich with crap I found in the fridge. If I’m going to a restaurant, I’d like to eat something that doesn’t look like I can just fix it up in my house on a Friday night when I don’t want to cook. I don’t know how this restaurant has an average 4.8 star rating. But the fact that most family gatherings I’ve been to where there are ribs and I can’t find the bone until I start biting into it is better than what this restaurant has, tells me all I need to know about the rest of the food.

A few days ago, my wife and I had lunch at Bandanas Restaurant in Sedalia, and we had an outstanding experience! Our server, **Macie**, was incredibly friendly, attentive, and professional—she made our visit even more enjoyable.
We ordered a **full slab of smoked ribs**, and it was absolutely delicious! The meat was tender, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. The portions were generous, and everything tasted fresh.

Got the budget meal because I didn’t want a bunch of food. The mac n cheese was cold and so was the brisket. The beans were piping hot tho. I brought it up and the owner maybe or chef? remedied the situation & made sure that I was okay with the new food. I asked for the check over 15 minutes ago and I do not see my waitress anywhere. I only came here because they catered a party I attended and I thought it was good but it wasn’t the same at the restaurant.

Great service with a smile. Ribs were good. Brisket wasn’t the best I’ve ever had but it was still good. Fries were a bit heavy and potato salad fairly heavy with onion. Garlic bread was very good and fresh.

The food was so good. Perfect temperature, tasted great and served in a timely manner. We were greated at the door and seated right away. The entire staff was very friendly and our server was attentive. The portion sizes are just right and the prices are completely fair for the quality. Best bbq place in the area.
