Dining With Duane Had the opportunity to stop here On a late night snack or dinner however you see it. This was my first time trying this platillo (platter). It was delicious and tasty! Packed with Flavor. You get your moneys worth here. You have leftovers guaranteed. They have some great quality authentic Mexican Food. I know the owners and they are also great people. I recommend this place. They are all about the community. It’s beautiful inside! Large Portions! Reasonable price! Great Atmosphere! Great Customer Service! You leave here satisfied! You get a great experience here like if your back in Mexico. That’s one thing I love about this restaurant. That feel of home. Chips and salsa – some chips were way over cooked and were bitter. The salsa was very fresh, no heat at all – 3
Lime Margarita on the rocks – sweet, but not too sweet – 4

Hands down one of the best mexican restaurants I’ve been too. Everything has flavor! The horchata is my go and it was packed with cinnamon, so good! Had a great server. The atmosphere was perfect. Just all around good food and great time.

Food was good, service was also good, until the bill came. Charged twice for an item only received once. Put cash and a card in the servers “book”, misunderstood that the bill was being split. Was charged the entire amount on the card and cash was assumed to be a tip. Communication was difficult. I’ve never given a tip before the card was charged. Card is charged, slip signed, then you get your tip. (Former server) I guess lesson learned is give the card payer the cash and then they can be charged in full, then leave cash tip? Who leaves a cash tip when the card hasn’t been charged yet? That means split check automatically.

Door dashed some menudo and was sadly very disappointed. Half it was bones. I’ve eaten dozens of bowls of menudo and never once have I been served bones. After the first one I didn’t mind. But as I ate, I found the rest. The actual broth and meat were okay. But I found quite a bit of it was still pretty chewy. I wanted to get my fix from a new place, but that really didn’t happen. I guess I’ll stick to making my own menudo/caldo. Oh and in case you’re wondering why I didn’t use any cilantro, look at the picture. Its rotten.

Horrible. We ordered pickup around 9 pm. I ordered the Enchiladas Bandaras and this is what I received. I have never had Enchiladas served this way and based on their photos, I didn’t receive the correct food. I have no idea what this is. I also ordered a chicken quesadilla but received beef. My boyfriend ordered a steak burrito without onions but received onions anyways with very fatty and dry steak. I will admit I did not even attempt to reach out to them based on their customer service reviews because I am just upset and hungry after spending 50$ for a very low quality meal. Please make sure to check your orders when picking up – we have learned and accepted our mistake – I just don’t want others to be disappointed.

Got take-out with my spouse tonight! He went in while I waited outside with my dog. He says that the two staff he met tonight were absolutely amazing – all smiles, kind, and friendly. He says it’s authentic, inviting and warm. We just got home and started eating a few minutes ago (literally typing this out mid-dinner, I HAD to review this place), and this is the best Mexican food I’ve had anywhere. Their burritos are HUGE, and 100% worth the price in weight AND quality. We also got a quesadilla to split – and it was SO delicious. This kind of restaurant and the inviting and happy, warm feeling its employees give are EXACTLY why I want to learn spanish, just to talk with them and learn a bit about why they started this place up and decided to make food for a living. I can’t believe their rating is below a 4.5 – I don’t have a single complaint. Absolutely will be going back for more food – and soon! Might be the new date night location for my spouse and I.

I love Mexican food and theirs is fantastic. I had the Enchiladas Banderas. They are one of the few places open during the arctic freeze. Love the salsa bar too.
