I had a strange experience yesterday.
First, I want to start off by saying I have been a patron of this location Tuesdays and Wednesdays since November and I have always had an excellent experience with the women who work there.
I’m there to work virtually and I’m usually there for 90min, sometimes 2 hrs and EVERY SINGLE TIME I’m there, I order something.
For some reason, yesterday, the “manager” (redheaded older man), interrupted me during my online meeting, with no consideration for me, my job or who I was talking to, to say “We don’t mind if you’re here but you need to purchase something!”
I had arrived a tad late for my online session, but had a 15 minute break in between my virtual sessions when I knew I’d get something to eat… I always do.
He immediately made me unwelcome and uncomfortable with his rude tone of demand. But mostly, I have spent SO MUCH money at this Starbucks, I was shocked, insulted and frankly frustrated at his timing, multiple rude comments and TONE.
There is another patron that comes in at the same times I do and never orders anything, in fact he brings food with him to eat at the Starbucks table.
This manager felt the need to come at me personally.
I haven’t decided if I’ll go back.

Hands down one of the most pleasant drive through experiences I’ve ever had. The barista taking the order was polite, clear, efficient, and helpful. The store was a little tricky to find but worth it!

I’ve never been a Starbucks person but I started bringing my daughter here before school most days and they’re always drawing the cutest little faces or animals on her hot chocolate cup. They’re so smiley when she orders, too.
I can hear their voices perk up when they hear her speaking to the drive thru order window lol.
The drawings have gotten more elaborate as time goes on.

My wife and I went through the drive through and the speaker stated they were closed. We were stuck behind a car at the window obviously the last customer. We pulled up to the window and the barista Anabella (hope I spelled it correctly) was kind enough to take our order at the window due to us having to wait to leave. That was very kind and we really appreciated the act of kindness.

Service is always fast, food and drinks are fresh and on par at this Starbucks location in North Albany. Even though it’s a small plaza that you’ll miss if you’re not looking for it, it’s a reliable stop for our fam when visiting the grandparents.
