45 minute wait on a Saturday night was well worth it! Started with the Baby Kale and Tofu Salad and Karaage and both were excellent. Super fresh veggies in the salad and the spicy mayo was a perfect accompaniment to the chicken.

Partner had a double Mini Char Siu Bowl with pork belly. Generous portion with lean, flavorful pork and sauce that wasn’t overly sweet. I had the Original Tonkotsu which was equally tasty. Broth makes or breaks ramen and Ramen Wasabi does it right. I highly recommend the flavor booster to add a little spice!

I love Shoyu. Soup is heated enough, has a strong dashi flavor. noodles are smooth and chewy. The pork is sweet and melts in your mouth. It’s delicious, so it’s crowded. They also have Japanese whiskey.

This place is the best. We always order the spicy garlic miso, tonkatsu or hakata red and they never disappoint. Highly recommend subbing the chicken for the pork, that chicken is delicious. And for appetizers try the wings and gyoza, both are excellent. The only downsides here are that parking can be difficult and wait times can be long.

We LOVE Ramen Wasabi. The food is excellent and the service is fantastic. On both our visits, Samuel made our entire party feel welcome and appreciated. Ramen Wasabi has a wonderful drink menu, making really hard to decide what to order. We’ll definitely be back again soon!

Ramen wasabi is a valid spot. I went on a Sunday night at around 8pm. The space was full and lively. We did have to wait about 5 mins for all the online delivery drivers to get their food which delayed seating. We ordered some drinks (very good), edamame (always valid), teriyaki wings which were sticky and flavorful, spicy black garlic ramen (soo good! The broth was flavorful and the pork fell apart as you picked it up), the tonkotsu ramen which by itself honestly lacked flavor but luckily we ordered the flavor bomb upgrade and that helped a lot. Overall I would return! Parking is kind of brutal but stay patient and you’ll be blessed.

Pleasantly surprised with the takoyaki! The spicy ramen was pretty decent but I would avoid their classic tonkatsu as it tasted like an old boot. The pork was a lil tough and thick. Overall, nice spot with great service to put in around your mouth.

Tried this spot for the first time, and will certainly be coming back. Andreas was our server, and was extremely informative and personable. We ended up ordering Asahi beers to pair with our spicy garlic and tonkatsu ramen, and it was incredibly delicious. Would strongly recommend this to anyone wanting an amazing ramen experience in chicago!

One of the best ramen places I’ve tried in chicago! The spicy garlic miso ramen was really good and filling. We tried a few of the drinks as well (I would reccomend the lychee martini but all the ones we tried were good). There was a bit of a long wait but we were able to join the waitlist online.

We were also celebrating a birthday and they provided a free piece of cheesecake which was a nice touch.

I have the Vegan Ramen and Tofu Buns. The Tofu buns were really delicious and flavorful. The Ramen was also really good, but I wish they had different noodles that were vegan friendly. The buckwheat needles were okay.

Love the chashu here! The original tonkotsu and miso bold and spicy are really good! I went on Saturday for dinner and if you go even a minute after open, tables will be filled and you’ll have to wait so plan accordingly. You don’t have to wait at the restaurant cuz they use a text service. The service can be a little slow due to how busy it gets.
