-FIRST TIME CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE-
$13.57 for Chicago dog combo and jalapeño poppers. I was already hesitant that they were charging $6 for a Chicago dog by itself so I opted into the combo with a drink for $7 something.
Dog was ok, I expected a chunky beef dog but it was just the type you find in all the grocery stores with a bun and veggies, definitely not worth $6 alone.
Jalapeno Poppers are the frozen kind you can get anywhere, nothing special.
Fries were thin and fresh and wrapped with the dog for some reason? No ketchup was provided. This place has a LOT of room for improvement, given its location. I experienced cheap ingredients and very high prices. Lots of places close by I’ve tried that are better.

Had to see what all the hype was about. Definitely didn’t disappoint at all, food was delicious although price not so much. Wait was a bit long as well but overall food was a hit, hot & fresh.

This place is a joke! super slow service it’s like they’re stuck back in the 50s or whenever this place supposedly opened. You gotta know when to just give up sometimes. $6 for a hotdog with cold soggy fries. This will be the last time I eat here save your money. Go to Portillo’s at least it’s fresh.

Katie and Cathy were both very welcoming when I entered and came up to the counter to order. Both made you feel welcomed and appreciated. Ordered the chili cheese dog value meal and it was more than enough. Will definitely come back, not only for the food but how friendly both were. The GM has a great team!

The hot dogs I ordered were great, but I paid for them, .30 cents extra for any condiment, I even asked to clarify, and the cashier said yes .30 cents addition per item so if I want ketchup, mustard and relish, it’s an extra .90 cent’s, but I can order a chicago dog with everything on it for cheaper, but then you have to take off the stuff you don’t want on it, which is crazy. And, then to top it off, the lady making my food was not using food safety precautions and wearing food prep gloves, and neither was the man doing the fries. I checked with the In. State Heath Dept. and they said that it is a requirement for employees to use food preparation glove when handling food. So unless you want to eat someone’s bacteria with your expensive hot dogs, I would suggest eating somewhere else.

Two good things from here: the Customer Service and their Chicago Dog.

I ordered the Chicago Dog Combo, includes fries and a drink.
I also ordered the loose hamburger (think sloppy joe without the sauce). And added a tamale.

The service was great. Super friendly, easy to understand, helpful.
I used the drive-thru and it was quick and efficient and their menu is easy to read.

The tamale is just awful. Meat covered in breading. Nothing like a tamale. Don’t get this!

The loose hamburger tasted way too salty! Not sure if you can ask for no salt or less salt, but it was just terrible. The bun was also cold. Who gives cold buns with hot food? It makes McDonald’s hamburgers taste like a top of the line burger! Do not waste time on this. And – when it says loose, they do mean, loose. It’s messy!

The Chicago Dog was the only thing I actually enjoyed. It wasn’t as sloppy as some places. Maybe too much mustard, but otherwise, everything was good and went well together. The hot dogs are smaller than I remember, but still decent. The french fries though – awful. Just soggy and tasteless. I remember Arnie’s to have decent crispy french fries. But if you like the soggy ones – here you go!

I won’t be going back – it’s not worth a trip just for a hot dog when there are better options around. I think Five Guys hot dogs are already 10 X better.

I used to love Arnies. I even worked there when I was a teenager. Their chilli was awesome, they changed it. It’snot good anymore. Now they changed their cheese on the cheese fries. Definitely disappointed

Have not been here for awhile but what the heck did they do with their French fries? They used to be good. Now they are these skinny fries that looks like they were cooked in a microwave or turbo oven and not deep fried. They were inedible. The Chicago dog was ok but overall not as good as past months and years. Note to management: bring back the regular deep fried French fries. (Service though was good).

The food was bland. The dogs were thrown at the bottom on the bag with the fries. I know I arrived 30 minutes before they were closing but they didn’t have to show they were ready to close. I definitely will not be going back to this place.
