Great!! Coffee shop & what seems like a private owned.
Their berry jam was knockout. And the sour dough bread was as well. I really thought about a second order.
Coffee was good – I drink black. Medium roast was available and did the trick. But I hope in the future they get some dark roast beans in.
I love fresh ground coffee and dark roasted is the bolder flavor. (My only recommendation).
I will come back to visit Portland & this will be my stop for Coffee before them 7brews & Starbucks dessert coffees.
Oh and the sourdough and jam- I need more of that in my life.

Love their coffee. Gave 4 star for food because I only had a bagel from them which was good, but I go for the coffee. The funky monkey is a fave

Positives: very nice service, nice atmosphere/interior, great wifi
Negatives: very overpriced: average americano cost $2.75-3, here starts at $4 for a small; stuffed croissant that fit in my palm cost $5.75; chocolate chip cookie $4+
They use only disposable cups, big no go for me
Coffee is mediocre
All being said, it’s probably the best you’ll find in Portland. I’ll be driving a few minutes more to get better value for my money. Good luck though!

Figured I’d give this place a shot but nope never again. Damn 7 bucks for a drip coffee!! That’s ridiculous! Even Starbucks drip isn’t that damn expensive. The owner really needs to rethink his prices!

I was visiting Corpus Christi for a business, found this place form it’s review. I ordered a latte with oat milk and I got a super hot tasteless coffee with no foam on it. You can see in the picture. Since it was hot I didn’t drink it at the time I got it and when I had a first sip I opened the lid and saw that it doesn’t even have a foam. It felt like a cup of coffee with creamer that I bought from a gas station!

Stopped in on our drive home from Corpus Christi. Happy to find a coffee shop that isn’t a Starbucks. They have a beautiful space, quick and friendly service, delicious coffees, and yummy breakfast sandwiches.

Highly recommend stopping by. Located inside the Fresh Food entrance of HEB, this place offers a surprisingly large variety of tasty coffees and a very eager, friendly staff who went above and beyond to find the right coffee for me. Fast and friendly service. One of the best parts was they offered half-sweet and the flavor still popped through! Enjoyed their peanut butter bites and raspberry mocha.
Major pro: The staff seemed to really take pride in their products and were happy to chat about them when asked.
The only thing that I dinged one star for is the location. You can’t glance at the main image, web page, or Google description and quickly or easily know where to go. I’ve never been to this area, so, as a traveler, it took a bit of looking around and reading other reviews to find it, which might be frustrating if you’re in a hurry.

I had never been here before so I decided to try it. It’s a cute place. But I am having visions issues and had a hard time reading the menu board. One barista was kind of rude but the other barista was very helpful. I ordered a French vanilla latte and a turkey Swiss croissant. My coffee came out quickly but I had to wait for the croissant. Finally the rude barista calls me to come up for the croissant. I say thanks and leave. When I get to the car I open the packaging and see the disaster. I can’t believe that she thought this was appropriate to give me. I had asked a couple of times for the status bc it seemed to take longer than other places. . When I came back and showed her the croissant she said .”thats how they come out”. Really??? Coffee was good but I’ll never visit there again.

Wifey and I have been here numerous times and whatever we get is always great. This time I scored a fat chocolate chip cookie on steroids, a nice black t shirt that told me to always drink good coffee….so I did, a couple blended frozen thingys filled that need nicely…..can’t remember exactly what kind ’cause I was walking around taking pics while my better half used her frappe expertise to hook us up wit’ drink nirvana….they’re always good here. I picked up a bag of guatemala beans, tasty.
