I had went in there a while ago 1 night and tried the blackened chicken alfredo with garlic bread and a salad and it was really good. Loved the house made ranch dressing and the garlic bread. I came back to try the filet and OMG!! Amazing!! It was super tender and super flavorful. It came with a salad which was really good and I got 2 sides. I ordered the roasted squash and hashbrown casserole and both are very delicious. I enjoyed it so much I ordered a new york strip to go. It also came with a salad and 2 sides. I ordered green beans and fries. The new york strip is really good as well. The green beans were really flavorful and the fries were great. I definitely will be back!! Really good food

We were looking for something different after church and stumbled across this wonderful restaurant. The food was wonderful and service was quick and efficient. The chef adapted menu items for gluten sensitivity in our party. Definitely worth checking out. We enjoyed the chicken and waffles and omelets.

Nice little spot to sit down and grab a bite to eat. I grabbed blackened chicken Alfredo and my wife grabbed NY strip steak. Both dishes were great. The Strip had a nice smoked taste. Will definitely be back!

A very tired establishment (to say the least). We weren’t overly hungry, so my wife & I just ordered a fried chicken sandwich to share. It came with one pickle, one lettuce leaf & one piece of sliced tomato on the side. Oh & it also came with a side of “warm” fries. “Could I have an extra plate please?” Yes of course.
Go to pay at the counter (they don’t bother bringing your check to the table). “What’s this $2 plating fee?” Oh that’s because you split your sandwich. “What!?” Sorry I can’t take it off. I only work here. “I see”.
For the record, “plating” is a verb. It means “to plate”. Next time to justify your $2 plating fee, I suggest you do exactly that; split the meal onto two plates. Not just hand someone a second plate. Total including tax & tip was $23.47 (we just drank water). Unremarkable food. Lazy service. No we won’t be back.

Good food, very friendly employees and guests, nice atmosphere. Liz, the owner made her rounds and we had a very pleasant conversation.
Definitely stop by if you are in Monroe!

This was a complete letdown. My wife and I went to eat there on Saturday afternoon. The restaurant was not busy, which I guess would’ve been a clear sign to go somewhere else, but I am someone that likes to give restaurants a chance being that it is located in downtown Monroe my expectations were a little higher especially since it’s in such a cute part of town. I ordered the blackened chicken pasta, and the chicken I received was not blackened at all. Whatever seasoning they use lacked flavor and the pasta and Alfredo sauce was something that I could literally make at home. My wife ordered the chicken sandwich with fries and the chicken itself was slacking flavor but the worst part of all is that their mayonnaise came in a packet. Nothing wrong with that if I went to a fast food joint however, this restaurant gives the appearance of quality meals and I feel that is not what we got. The service overall was ok, they did their job. However, when I entered the restaurant, everyone was gathered around the countertop while other employees were eating. It took the person that was eating to address us and tell us to sit anywhere we want while the rest just looked upon. The dishes that are on display here in Google looked really good so it seems to me like they may have lost their touch over time. It’s a restaurant in what I believe to be prime real estate so I feel that they could elevate themselves a lot better. The customer service could improve, but overall they were all really nice and that is hard to find, but my hope is that the food can be elevated.

This is such a cute restaurant. We wandered here by accident after the place we wanted to go had a 2 hour wait. I am so glad that happened because this place was such a gem. There were 5 of us and they had to do a little adjusting of tables but we were seated within 10 minutes.
The food was wonderful, service was great and prices were reasonable. There is public parking not far, so you can park for free and walk right to the restaurant.
We will definately be back.

After visiting a nearby vineyard, my wife and I needed some lunch before driving home. The Main Street Bistro was recommended, and we understand why!
I had the Country Fried Steak with Southern Style Green Beans and Garlic Bread, while my wife had Jumbo Prawns and Garlic Bread. Both were wonderfully seasoned and absolutely delicious. Highly recommend!
Friendly staff, & fast service (especially for such delicious food) make it well with a visit.

My husband and I definitely ordered more than we could eat but we couldn’t help ourselves. Everything on the menu sounded good. We ordered the crab stuffed mushrooms as an appetizer and they were delicious. Our favorite part was of course dessert. I got the banana foster and the hubs got an ice cream sandwich. Incredible food – we will definitely be back. Found our new date night place!
