The server there is so disrespectful and lacks customer service skills. He kept rushing my whole table to pay when we’re still there wanting to enjoy ourselves and take our time. It was not busy. It was not packed, there was no reason for his bad behavior and to tell one of my church members to tell him everything they were wanting at one time instead of having him back and forth is so rude & ugly I will NEVER go back or spend another dime in that place. Then they automatically charge you a tip when they come out with your total & if they hadn’t I would’ve gave him $0. He didn’t deserve the tip he added onto my total & then still trying to have me sign a receipt to give him more towards a tip is ridiculous. He made everyone so uncomfortable that I ended up having to finish my food elsewhere because I did not want to be there anymore. Never again. Work on your customer service skills.

Hadn’t been here in a while and decided to visit. Food was great, had the ramen here for the first time it was ok. The chicken katsu is always great, and my favorite appetizer takoyaki was great!

Let me start with what was good. The crab rangoon were great. Service was good as well. However, this sushi place is not for me. I struggled to find a special roll that wasn’t tempura or cooked. I prefer raw sushi. And even after I asked if the fuqua roll was cooked and was informed it was raw, I was served a deep fried roll with cooked fish inside. They took it off my ticket. The samurai roll was my other pick and it was just too much cream cheese and tempura. The shu mai were also only ok.

This was our first time going here. I was surprised to find out they had more locations around Houston. There is a lot to choose from even the drink menu is long and varied. The appetizer selection is full of great options of fried and sushi options. We decided to get the appetizer sampler that had the fried options with shrimp tempura crab Rangoons, fried spring rolls, and fried tofu. It came with two sauces, one sweet and one savory. Everything on the plate was delicious, especially after finding that right combination of sweet or savory. I got the lunch special sushi that came with three different sushi options and a soup or salad. I went with the soup, and for sushi, I got the spicy tuna roll, eel and avocado , and the salmon roll. Sherry Ann went with the Philly roll. It was a lot of food, maybe too much food. I enjoyed the eel and the salmon. The tuna was ok, but the others were far better. Our server Bagus was great checking on us answering all our questions and making sure we had a great experience. This was great service, great food, and the restaurant itself was nicely decorated and clean, and they even have a bar if thats your style. I would definitely recommend this place, and I’m already looking forward to coming back.

I was hesitant after seeing reviews over service. My waitress was amazing! Christ’s made sure I had everything I needed. The food was less than impressive. The presentation looked like a plate of nachos and the wasabi sauce was a concerning color. Restaurant has a lot of potential but cutting corners. Y’all can do better. Stay authentic!!

Ok so normally I don’t like seafood but their eel sushi was so good! All their food was very delicious. Plus to be honest the price is pretty good. The desert came out on a lovely plate decorated nicely I loved it. Plus the waiters were amazing. They knew when to refill drinks and always checked up on us. Definitely my #1 Japanese restaurant.

Service was slow, they weren’t very busy, but the server seemed uninterested in serving us, not coming back to check on us. Otherwise, the food was good, the serving sizes were good relative to the price, and it was just like you’d expect it.

Most of the food had fantastic flavor except the sour steak.
I took my meal to go and when I got home a short 7-minute drive and started with the fried rice and it was great then I started on the steak but was so sour and bad I threw it away.
That really sucked!
