Padre Pio is one of the best restaurants in Andalucía. Anailde creates beautiful dishes which are freshly made and they are served by Andrew who is a wonderful host. I visited this fantastic place last September and promised on my return to try the superb dishes again on my return. We actually went on two consecutive nights. Each evening was a gem. We had the fish one evening and tried the meat dishes the following night. If you love good meat dishes like steak or lamb then this is the place to go. The wine list offers the best of Spain. Try any of the Vaquos Ribera range and you will not be disappointed. Please read the other excellent reviews and you will notice the amount of repeat visits made by so many guests who appreciate good food. Bravo Anailde & Andrew for your wonderful hospitality.

We couldn’t believe we hadn’t found this restaurant before. This is proper food, Italian (not a pizza/pasta place) with international influences. Our daughter had the knuckle of lamb and that was particularly special, the sauce was delicious. We felt for the quality of the food and the size of the portions it’s incredible value. And fabulous to have somewhere in TdM serving up a different menu to other restaurants.
Perhaps those in the comments complaining about timings should head back to a fast food restaurant.

Don’t get why the price say 20-30 euro in review when I have chosen 10-20. Paella was 28 euro for two people + drink.
We visited this place twice during our stay in Torre del Mar and would have done it more if we had more time in the area. We choose different dishes both times and were very happy with our choices both times. The seafood paella was very good and the different meat and fish dishes were great as well. Highly recommend this place if you visit the area.

We have just had dinner here and it was great. For starters we had shrimp pil pil. It was juicy, big shrimps. I recommend, if you like spicy. For main, we had pork tenderloin and seafood tagliatelle. Pork was juicy, with potatoes and vegetables, perfect portion. I had seafood tagliatelle and it was amazing – so much seafood in it, I was surprised. And it was really well cooked, big portion – even packed home. Both mains were not spicy. Also, we really liked the service, the waiter was attentive and considerate. I think this place should have a higher rating!

This year it was the 3rd time we went to Torre del Mar and we returned to our favourite restaurant and were more than delighted that the quality was even better than ever. The young man is very welcoming and the lady in the kitchen cooks incredible quality meals. We had paella , mussels and lamb jarré and a starter platter (plancha) Our favourite wine is the Verdejo. We recommend this place !!!!

Had a lovely time at this restaurant. Our waiter Sergio was splendid and helped make this lunch a great experience. We shared the beef carpaccio and assorted starters both of which were excellent. My husband had the veal which was tasty and cooked well, I had the octopus which was sublime! Thoroughly recommend Padre Pio – well worth a visit if you are in Torre del Mar.

Had a group meal. Few had an Argentinian steak and swear that it was best steak they ever had. Rabbit was a bit too sweet but very good, guys had a duck and it was perfect same with salmon. But few of us had an Argentinian prime rib and it was like a chewing gum, spices were good though. Pasta was delicious both, sea food and bolognese. Drinks are amazing too. Super friendly staff too

Wow. Top class food and service. Not fast but I’m prepared to wait for great food. My first time but not my last. There were 6 of us and every plate was empty at the end.
