This alehouse is a great spot to come with friends.
We ordered a variety of food and shared everything, which made it easy to try different dishes.
The menu has a good range of options, so there was something for everyone.
We also ordered a pitcher and enjoyed the beer together.
The atmosphere was lively and comfortable, making it a nice place to hang out and catch up with friends.

Captain Jack’s Buried Treasure

If you available on weekdays from 11 AM to 4 PM, you’ll find a great deals on their lunch special menus.

Fish & Chips:
The price of the fish & chips is fantastic, but the taste is okay. The dipping discs for the fish is only limited to tartar.

Chicken Bacon Ranch Mac & Cheese:
The deluxe Mac and cheese is probably better if it’s served as a supplement to an entrée instead of as a main course.

Rib Eye:
This 12 ounce steak was costlier than the lunch specials, but it was larger in size and better in taste. The meat was cooked medium rare and it was quite fulfilling.

Captain Jack’s Buried Treasure:
The ice cream cake is Miller’s signature dessert. You’ll never get bored of this treasure. Don’t forgot to ask for extra fudge – the more the merrier.

In addition to the great food, I was also pleased with the friendly service. Thank you, Amanda for taking care of us!

I love Miller’s when dining in—the food, service, and atmosphere are always great. My son especially loves their burger, which is why I often order through the app for pickup or delivery. Unfortunately, I’ve noticed that the quality is consistently not the same as dining in, and this has happened multiple times.

Just last night, I ordered again and had to throw away the salad because it was completely inedible. It honestly seemed like the oldest, worst part of the salad mix was used—something that would never be served to a customer dining in. It was disgusting.

I wouldn’t normally write a review, but when the same issue happens more than once—twice, even three times—it becomes impossible to ignore.

Great spot for viewing sports and mixing with the locals. It’s not overly expensive and they have a pretty good variety of food and drinks. There are at least 30 big screen TVs in the place and there’s ample seating for groups, couples and people doing it solo. When I asked for a change of channel, the request was granted almost every time. Typically, there were at least four events being broadcast – the Olympics, Knicks game, and college/NBA basketball games. There was a raffle during the Super Bowl, which was a nice touch. It’s my go-to spot for watching sports when I’m in the area.

Hi! I’ve never done a review on here before, but today I felt I had to. Upon entering, the atmosphere was nice. Games on the TV, music playing. Once our server, Sky, came to us…that’s when things went downhill. The food was not great at all, to the point where I didn’t even eat a quarter of my meal. Even in seeing that my plate was still practically full, she didn’t ask if there was an issue or if I even wanted a to-go box. She didn’t stop by our table once to see how the food was, and honestly was nowhere to be seen until we had already started to pay our check on the tablet. Also wasn’t until we were leaving that she finally asked if one of us wanted a refill. When we were leaving, not a single staff said goodbye or wished us well. Maybe we’re just used to decent service back home, but this was just disappointing. Sucks because I spoke so highly of this place the whole drive out to Jersey!!

I had a fantastic experience at Miller’s Ale House in Paramus! I stopped by for a cheeseburger, and it did not disappoint. The burger was cooked perfectly—juicy, flavorful, and topped with fresh ingredients. The bun was soft yet sturdy, holding everything together without falling apart.

The service was excellent as well—friendly staff, quick service, and a great atmosphere. Whether you’re here for a meal or just to grab a drink and watch the game, this place has a welcoming vibe. I’ll definitely be coming back!

I couldn’t taste any of the food in fact I couldn’t even eat it all because it was so salty. My buddy ordered wings a couple tables down and they brought them home because they were so soggy they put them in their air fryer the next day. The server could not even remember to bring our water and my buddy was at another table and he had to beg for them to bring water. Are you kidding me? I ordered patron margarita for my mother and it wasn’t real patron it was patron silver which is not aged for 4 months so I kind of felt ripped off. Yeah this place is a rip-off, overrated, Epic fail.

I had an absolutely fantastic experience at Miller’s Ale House in Paramus, and it was all thanks to the incredible team that made our visit so enjoyable. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with genuine hospitality and a welcoming atmosphere that set the tone for a great night.
A huge shoutout to Raquel, the manager, who truly goes above and beyond. Her professionalism, attentiveness, and warm personality were clear from the start. She made sure every guest felt valued and checked in with us personally to ensure everything was perfect. You can tell she leads her team with passion and pride—and it shows in the service!
Our servers—Jake, Sky, Amanda, and Isiah—were equally outstanding. Each one brought positive energy, prompt service, and great attention to detail. They were friendly, knowledgeable about the menu, and kept everything running smoothly, even during a busy night. Whether it was refilling drinks without being asked or making thoughtful recommendations, their teamwork and customer care stood out in the best way.
The food and drinks were exactly what we hoped for—fresh, flavorful, and served hot. But honestly, it was the people who made the experience unforgettable. It’s rare to find a restaurant where the entire staff is so consistently amazing.
If you’re looking for great food, an upbeat atmosphere, and top-tier service, Millers Ale House in Paramus is the place to go.

Shout out to our server Alicia for making our dining experience exceptional! She was very kind and patient with us. The food came out fast and it was all so good! I was not able to take any pictures but we ordered a veggie burger, grilled chicken bake, plain zingers with fries, and a zinger salad with buffalo and ranch. Everything tasted fresh and good! I have been here before and I will definitely be coming back. If you want a quieter area to eat, definitely request to be seated by the booths rather than in the “bar” room where it is a lot more lively and noisy.

Miller’s Ale House is basically a glorified sports bar serving fried comfort bar food. The menu is large, but nothing really stands out, and it feels more about quantity than quality.

The service was very slow, and on top of that, the servers didn’t seem very familiar with the menu or what was actually available, which made ordering frustrating. For a place this big, you’d expect smoother service and better coordination.

The restaurant itself is massive, but the ambience is pretty basic. Lots of TVs, loud atmosphere, and nothing that really sets it apart from other chain sports bars.

Overall, it’s fine if you’re just looking for a casual spot to watch a game and grab bar food, but if you’re expecting good service or a memorable dining experience, this probably isn’t the place.
