We ordered a variety of food and shared everything, which made it easy to try different dishes.
The menu has a good range of options, so there was something for everyone.
We also ordered a pitcher and enjoyed the beer together.
The atmosphere was lively and comfortable, making it a nice place to hang out and catch up with friends.

Captain Jack’s Buried Treasure
If you available on weekdays from 11 AM to 4 PM, you’ll find a great deals on their lunch special menus.
Fish & Chips:
The price of the fish & chips is fantastic, but the taste is okay. The dipping discs for the fish is only limited to tartar.
Chicken Bacon Ranch Mac & Cheese:
The deluxe Mac and cheese is probably better if it’s served as a supplement to an entrée instead of as a main course.
Rib Eye:
This 12 ounce steak was costlier than the lunch specials, but it was larger in size and better in taste. The meat was cooked medium rare and it was quite fulfilling.
Captain Jack’s Buried Treasure:
The ice cream cake is Miller’s signature dessert. You’ll never get bored of this treasure. Don’t forgot to ask for extra fudge – the more the merrier.
In addition to the great food, I was also pleased with the friendly service. Thank you, Amanda for taking care of us!

Just last night, I ordered again and had to throw away the salad because it was completely inedible. It honestly seemed like the oldest, worst part of the salad mix was used—something that would never be served to a customer dining in. It was disgusting.
I wouldn’t normally write a review, but when the same issue happens more than once—twice, even three times—it becomes impossible to ignore.
The service was excellent as well—friendly staff, quick service, and a great atmosphere. Whether you’re here for a meal or just to grab a drink and watch the game, this place has a welcoming vibe. I’ll definitely be coming back!
A huge shoutout to Raquel, the manager, who truly goes above and beyond. Her professionalism, attentiveness, and warm personality were clear from the start. She made sure every guest felt valued and checked in with us personally to ensure everything was perfect. You can tell she leads her team with passion and pride—and it shows in the service!
Our servers—Jake, Sky, Amanda, and Isiah—were equally outstanding. Each one brought positive energy, prompt service, and great attention to detail. They were friendly, knowledgeable about the menu, and kept everything running smoothly, even during a busy night. Whether it was refilling drinks without being asked or making thoughtful recommendations, their teamwork and customer care stood out in the best way.
The food and drinks were exactly what we hoped for—fresh, flavorful, and served hot. But honestly, it was the people who made the experience unforgettable. It’s rare to find a restaurant where the entire staff is so consistently amazing.
If you’re looking for great food, an upbeat atmosphere, and top-tier service, Millers Ale House in Paramus is the place to go.
The service was very slow, and on top of that, the servers didn’t seem very familiar with the menu or what was actually available, which made ordering frustrating. For a place this big, you’d expect smoother service and better coordination.
The restaurant itself is massive, but the ambience is pretty basic. Lots of TVs, loud atmosphere, and nothing that really sets it apart from other chain sports bars.
Overall, it’s fine if you’re just looking for a casual spot to watch a game and grab bar food, but if you’re expecting good service or a memorable dining experience, this probably isn’t the place.
