This was an all-you-can-eat spot, but don’t let that fool you — they’ll charge you extra if you don’t finish everything. I paid $4 per roll on top of the base price because I didn’t finish a few pieces — and that was my second plate after they forgot part of my original order.

The salmon roll didn’t even look like salmon. It looked more like sweet potatoes stuffed into rice. The color and texture were completely off. I know what salmon sushi is supposed to look and taste like, and this wasn’t it.

The sake came out late, after I was already halfway through eating. The waitress forgot part of my order, which is why I even had a second plate to begin with.

When I brought up being charged extra for pieces I didn’t finish — especially after the order mix-up — the manager wouldn’t budge at all. No discount, no attempt to make it right, nothing.

Between the questionable food quality, slow drink service, forgotten items, and management nickel-and-diming customers at an all-you-can-eat restaurant, I won’t be back. There are way better sushi spots that actually care about service and quality.

I ordered through Grubhub, as I’ve done before, and what I received was extremely low quality. The times I’ve had Koi before, the food was great. However, the food I received tonight was subpar. My chicken and vegetables in the chicken hibachi plate were completely waterlogged. I have never seen freshly cooked meat and veggies swimming in liquid/oil. So as you can imagine, everything was bland.

My shrimp tempura roll was mainly lettuce with no avocado in sight. This was not the hibachi/sushi I ordered a week ago. I called and spoke to the manager, but I’m not sure that it registered too much to her. The tone of the conversation seemed to sway towards the idea that I was either a picky customer who wasn’t satisfied, or that I was over exaggerating the issues of the food. Despite having ordered the same exact meal less than a week ago.

That being said, no resolution was offered, and it was recommended that I next time order and specify that I’d prefer “less lettuce” as well as being told that people prefer different amounts of “sauce” (in regards to the watery chicken and veggies) rather than taking any accountability on behalf of the cook (who she mentioned to be new) for the order being jacked up.

Smh… Koi, fix it so no one else has to have this same experience.

I’ve been here 7 times in the last 8 months, and I’ve been consistently impressed with the quality of everything on the menu. However, I’m particularly drawn to their sushi. The pricing is quite reasonable for the amount you receive, and they also offer an all you can eat option if you’re feeling particularly hungry. The service is consistently great here, and the atmosphere is pleasant. The place has a nice, cozy feel while you’re waiting for your food. My friends and I often come here to relax after a long week or to catch up.

Amazing experience at this fine establishing where I got ro enjoy verity of premium done sushi rolls for a wonderful price. Thank you so so much for having me and letting me try your amazing cuisine. I would personally highly recommend visiting the place and giving it a shot.

Would give 0 star if I could. We’re having stomachache and diarrhea when dining, but we still try to finish the leftovers and be respectful of the food policy. But they come over and charge us for half a rice ball of leftover for $5 and rudely ask us to go to the hospital to provide proof for food poisoning, despite my friend had been going to the restroom 3 times within one hour. Food was not good either, don’t come here if you have other options.
The manager is also rude and unable to communicate. $5 is nothing, would give a tip more than that amount if the experience is good.

The food was pretty good but the service was slow and I left a small amount on my plate, the child I had left the broccoli only and they charged me $3 I honestly ate as much as I could and asked to speak with the manager and she said that fee was generous and I shouldn’t have ordered so much food. Now I’m uncomfortably stuffed and have a bad taste about this place.

I had an excellent experience at Koi today for lunch, and I’m so glad I found this recently opened gem!

Price/Value: 5/5 The weekday lunch is $15, which would be about the price of one specialty sushi roll anywhere else. (Weekend lunch and any day for dinner are both $24.) This is an excellent deal, given everything we ordered.

Food: 4/5 The sushi was good, and above what I expected with all-you-can-eat. The hibachi was very good, and a generous portion. The presentation of every dish is excellent, and the food comes out quickly. A word of warning: you will be charged for food not eaten (I believe it’s 50 cents for each uneaten piece of sushi, not sure how much hibachi would be, since we ate it all and ordered even more!)

Service: 5/5 It’s been a while since I’ve received such kind and attentive service! Our drinks were constantly refilled, our orders were placed and delivered quickly, and they frequently cleared plates from the table as we kept ordering.

Overall: 4.5/5 Listen, you’re not getting M Sushi level quality, but you’re also paying less for an entire meal than a single roll at M. The food is a great value, the service is great, and the price is exceptional! I’ll definitely be back.

All you can eat sushi buffet. You pick what you want off the menu and they make it on the spot. I appreciate the nice presentation and fresh ingredients. Good quality and variety of different rolls. They also have American appetizers for the kids. Service is attentive and friendly. Highly recommend for a feast. Would love to return! Plenty of parking around the shopping center.

I got take out hibachi with chicken a couple months ago, it’s definitely the worst hibachi I’ve had in a long time-maybe ever. And I will say my bar is pretty low but the veggies and chicken tasted almost boiled in the sense there was zero flavor. The sauce is definitely premade, it tastes very shelf stable if you know what I mean, like a frozen dinner. I can’t speak to anything else there but I honestly wouldn’t go back even if the all you can eat is cheap. I’m doing this review bc I didn’t notice that many which accurately reflected the quality of the hibachi.

went on a tuesday night. 30+ wait since we had our order taken. it’s ramen. it shouldn’t take this long. crazy.

ramen itself is fine. little too much MSG, it coats your mouth and you feel it after drinking water. $5 for extra noodles is steep.
