The eggs Benedict were cooked perfectly. And the hollandaise was heavenly, I would definitely get this plate again. The steak was also cooked to a nice medium, pink in the middle, melt in your mouth. Both fries and breakfast potatoes had a nice crisp bite and tender in the middle.

We did not have space for dessert, but will be back to try it.

The Copper Onion is a must when visiting Salt Lake City. According to its website, since its inception in 2010, Copper Onion has delivered a welcoming and approachable dining experience for all. Each dish is made in-house daily with a commitment to sourcing ingredients locally and sustainably. We were a party of 8 for dinner. We ordered the Carbonara, Wagyu Beef Stroganoff (highly recommend!), Rainbow Trout (comes with Turkish Yogurt and delicious Curried Lentils), and House Meatloaf. Our table also ordered Brussels sprouts and Risotto to share. The Carbonara, Beef Stroganoff, and House Meatloaf are Copper Onion Classics, according to the menu. Highly recommend!

We have been to The Copper Onion twice now and have had a great experience both times! I cannot recommend the Wagyu Bone Marrow as an appetizer enough, it is delicious and we got it both times. You cannot go wrong with any of their pasta dishes, as they make their pasta in house and it has the best texture. Of the few I have tried, the Carbonara was my favorite.

Overall, the drinks are great, food is delicious, and both the service and atmosphere were exceptional! We will be back again, and again, and again!

Got me saying OOH LA LA to the best French Dip I’ve ever had in my life. Experts in the kitchen. This is the kind of place that keeps the menu as tight as your pants will be when you leave. There’s just enough range in the selection that there’s a variety of dishes, but it’s not watered down with choice overload. The Caesar cauliflower was also decadent. Unfortunately (or maybe fortunately) I live out of state or I would be a regular here for their seasonal rotating menu!

I came to The Copper Onion with high expectations; several friends had recommended it, and being in Salt Lake City, we couldn’t miss the opportunity.

I have to say the prices were very reasonable, not excessive for this type of restaurant. The service was acceptable, and the atmosphere was quite lively, especially for a Tuesday night.

We ordered two appetizers, two main courses, a Coca-Cola, and one side.
1. Sourdough bread with ricotta and chili: the bread arrived very hot on the outside but cold in the center, which was disappointing. The ricotta was okay, nothing special.
2. Ricotta “dumplings”: honestly, they felt more like a poorly executed Spanish croquette. The filling tasted like raw flour with a hint of old, slightly burnt oil.
3. Crispy cauliflower: we ordered this out of curiosity and it was a pleasant surprise. Flavorful, well-balanced, and full of taste. Definitely one of the highlights of the night and what earns the first star.
4. Cacio e Pepe: far too salty, nothing more to add.
5. Cast Iron Crispy Chicken: well prepared, juicy, and with good texture. This dish earns the second star.

Overall, it was a mixed experience. Some dishes were well executed, but others fell far below expectations for a restaurant that comes so highly recommended.

We were totally impressed with this restaurant. We had their hamburger and also had the wagyu stroganoff. Both of them were amazing dishes! Would definitely come to eat them again. I have to say that their hamburger and french fries is probably the best I’ve ever had. Totally surprised but very pleased. Would have given it five stars but the place was just so loud!

We had a great brunch complete with steak and eggs, house pickles are worth the money. The atmosphere was fantastic, the dining area was clean and inviting. We look forward to trying the lunch menu next.

Good restaurant that accepts Resy credits. My favorite was the onion soup, perfect comfort food for winter. The only downside is how busy and noisy it was. I was also sitting on a corner where there was cold hair blowing through, not the most comfortable atmosphere in my opinion.

This place is very special. It is a great option for a special dinner or going with your friends. I do recommend to try the hamburger (you won’t regret it, believe me). Nice staff too.

What a great lunch spot! I went because they filmed a scene of the Real Housewives of Salt Lake City here and I was really impressed! The house pickles were so delicious, I’m a real pickle head and these did not disappoint! I also got the stroganoff which, when it arrived, I got nervous because it doesn’t look like there is much food but the bowl is deep and I was totally full by the end of my meal. Highly recommend!! Service was also wonderful!
