Had the chopped brisket sandwich with fries. Very flavorful! Bbq sauce savory. The owners were on site & were very friendly. They made sure we were satisfied with our meal. Outdoor seating & nice bar area. Give them a try.

First time trying this local BBQ joint and it was absolutely amazing! Their BBQ sauce has a little spice to it that was soooooo good and everything is fresh made to order. I had the brisket Mac and cheese and it was the perfect combination of creamy cheesy pasta with a perfectly smoked, shredded beef on top. This is one of those that is worth trying because I promise you won’t be disappointed. They also have a full bar and make a great margarita too!

So excited we picked this place. In from Ohio – wanted Texas BBQ – it was FANTASTIC. The house made bbq sauce was a little sweet, little tangy, little spicy. Absolutely perfect. Had the chopped brisket and sausage, and both were phenomenal! The BBQ sauce, onions, and pickles added the perfect flavor combo. The mac n’ cheese was super fresh and light — not heavy like at other BBQ spots. The mustard potato salad and coleslaw were great sides, and I’m already planning to go back to try the German potato salad (they ran out when I visited, which is always a good sign!). The garlic green beans were also delicious! Portion sizes were generous. I even had enough leftovers for another meal, and it still tasted amazing the next day. The restaurant was spotless, the bar area was beautiful, and the whole place had a fun, welcoming local feel. Definitely adding this spot to our regular rotation!

Visited Friday with my family and the food was just awful. I read all the great reviews before going and 2 days later I feel bamboozled with what we spent. Mac and cheese brisket came cold and was dry and bland, smoked crispy wings was beyond dry no flavor and the butchers best thing was the sausage. Nothing tasted fresh at all even the baked potatoe tasted old. The only thing we got that was hot was the frozen fries. We were so disappointed.

Amazing food, great flavor, brisket was cooked to perfection. The homemade dressings for our salads were the best tasting we have ever had. The German potato salad was awesome and had us wanting more of it. The mac and cheese was the best homemade mac and cheese I have ever had. All the food was fabulous. The owner greeted us at the door and was very nice.

The service was impeccable! I’m not sure of the server’s name but she was very attentive and very informative. I got there too early because the ribs were still on the smoker but she suggested the pulled pork and I’m not for sure that that might’ve been the best pulled pork I’ve tasted. I got some moist brisket that was just superb with its marbling. The owner came by and was very kind and if I lived closer I definitely would go back at least once a week. Those who live in the area are missing out. Seriously, 5 stars all around!!

Came back today to get some of their delicious bourbon smoked cheese cake with lunch. Get there about 11:20 and the restaurant is empty of patrons. My son tried the Andrew again, said it was a little on the dry side, but very flavorful. He ate all of it. I picked what they call the Chico Plate, one meat with two sides. I chose half chicken with fried okra and mac and cheese. Mine was also a little dry but very flavorful. I wish the mac and cheese had been a little more creamy. Tasted better during the first visit.
Only one BIG negative, they didn’t have any cheesecake made so that wasn’t good.
This was our first time eating here. We stopped in around lunch and were greeted with a relaxed atmosphere and big smiles from the staff. I had the Beck’s Mac Bowl and my son had the Andrew. We took home the bourbon smoked cheesecake to share. Everything was delicious!! Definitely going to eat here again.

Friends of a friend knew this fine gentleman from a local brewery, and he with the help of his wonderful staff they opened what I can only describe as a perfect slice of home town BBQ.
The food, the prices, the service just cannot be beat here. The owner genuinely cares about customer satisfaction and frequently stops by to check on the tables.
I have been really hoping that a traditional smoke house would come to Flowermound / highland village and boy am I happy this one came along.
The location is off the main drive far enough where you aren’t hearing the cars rush by, but still very convenient to get too, TONS of easy and available parking all around.
The interior is classy and feels like a good home town BBQ with a full bar, the patio is amazing with a wrap around fence and plenty of easy blowing overhead fans, to top it off there are too beautiful trees that cover and shade the whole patio.
I can’t rave enough about this place honestly, just check out these pictures!
