The steak was tender, flavorful, juicy and plentiful. The salad was large and I didn’t need a lot of the bread because I didn’t want to fill up on it. The mac and cheese was good. Overall good place to eat

It’s been a while since I last visited LongHorn, but I was pleasantly surprised by how great the service was this time around. Even though the restaurant wasn’t fully packed (which was a little saddening to see), the staff didn’t cut any corners—service was attentive, friendly, and spot-on.
I tried a few new appetizers along with the deep-fried Brussels sprouts. While the sprouts were a little more overcooked than I prefer, the flavors were still good. On the other hand, the shrimp and my main meal were absolutely delightful—perfectly cooked and full of flavor.
Overall, a very enjoyable visit with excellent service and food that hit the mark. I’ll definitely be back.

Despite it being a Saturday evening and little to no parking available, we were seated immediately. Our server was attentive and had some good suggestions! The food arrived quickly and it was apparent that we were going to need assistance getting out of our seats! The portions were large and a good value for the price. Unfortunately, due to such large portions, the last few bites were barely warm.

The food was excellent! I had a 8 oz sirloin can my husband had a full rack of ribs. With those two meals and a cocktail each our bill came to 75.00 which I think is very reasonable compared to a meal we had it Bonefish Grill a couple weeks ago where two appetizers and three drinks whats 85.00. Ripoff! The service could have been better at Longhorn. He really didn’t clear off plates as we went, but otherwise everything else was great!

We went to Longhorn Steakhouse in Tyrone Square around 7:30 pm 10/26/2025 for dinner. I ordered the 6 oz. Renegade Sirloin medium-rare and my date ordered the 6 oz. Flo’s Filet medium-well. When the food arrived at our table, mine looked medium and my date’s looked rare. I figured the cooking temperatures got switched. Both the server and the manager suggested that the cooking temperatures did not get switched but rather that our plates got switched and that I was mistakenly eating the Flo’s Filet and my date was eating the Renegade Sirloin. At this point, my date and I both became frustrated with where this was going. Mine clearly looked like a sirloin cut, my date’s cut clearly looked like a filet cut. In my opinion, a filet cut is more round and much thicker. Also, mine clearly had the texture and consistency of a sirloin cut, definitely not filet. I pointed at my cut and said to both the manager and waitress: “What, you can’t identify this piece of meat?”, and they both said the dimensions of the cuts can be switched so that the Renegade Sirloin cut can be thick and the Flo’s Filet cut can be thin. My experiences with cuts during previous visits to Longhorn Steakhouse, other restaurants, and grocery stores contradicts what they said. In my opinion, the manager and waitress are very ignorant of the difference in appearance between a 6 oz. Flo’s Filet and a 6 oz. Renegade Sirloin. Instead of just admitting that they made a mistake and got the cooking temperatures switched, they chose to blame us for eating each other’s meat. I have attached a photo of my partially eaten 6 oz. Renegade Sirloin and a photo of the receipt. If you spend a few minutes on the Internet looking at customer’s photos, you will see how the cuts typically look and the difference is striking. In my opinion, the manager was unprofessional, contrary, and used poor judgement. Also, the manager and waitress were completely uninterested in our explanation of the difference in shape and thickness of a sirloin versus filet cut. The manager offered to redo our meals but at that point I was completely unsure what I would be served. We did get a 10% discount but that certainly did not make up for the aggravation and unprofessional exchange.
Sincerely,
Thurston Clark

I had a really good experience the Manager Lisa was so awesome and so was my server. We had a little hiccup up earlier with a shortage of lamb chops. Lisa reassured me to come back at a later time so that way I would be able to experience the hype and they were good 10 out of 10.

We had the lunch special cheeseburger and it was delicious. The onion soup was one of the best I’ve ever had, but what made our dining experience even better was our server, Kayla. She was friendly and attentive and greatly contributed to our enjoyment.

I suppose it’s not fair to say the food was poor, because we were never served. We were seated, but our server never came around. Three waiters and waitresses passed by us, but never asked if they could get us waters while we waited for our server. So we left. On the way out, I stopped at the hostess stand to ask to see the manager, but there was no hostess or a manager to be seen.
So, I will offer a review based on our previous visits to this establishment:
The food has shown a steady decline over the years. The last time we went there, the floor was dirty, the wait staff was not friendly, and the food was so-so. The Chop Steak (medium-rare) was hammered, the Parmesan Chicken just as overcooked, and the fries were cold.
I routinely tip 20% for decent service, more for excellent service, and less or none for bad service. My wife and I both worked in food service, so we understand how it can be. The problem is this restaurant suffers from poor management and/or inadequate training of their staff.
Other reviewers like this place. Either they have had a completely different experience than we have had the last three times we’ve been there or they have a very low bar when it comes to quality.
We will not be back.

Had a wonderful experience at Longhorn Steakhouse of Tyrone in St Petersburg. Efficient service by KaMyra in which it was welcoming and very hospitable. Food was brought out in great timing. Served hot and the drinks were topped off promptly. Food presentation and flavor were excellent!!! Hats off to the kitchen staff for doing an excellent job preparing and plating the appetizer to the main course!! Looking forward to visiting again soon to sample more items from the menu!! Keep up the great work everyone!!!

We come here often for dinner, and it never disappoints! Definitely one of our favorite go to places during the weekday. It can get very busy and some nights service is slower than others but it’s understandable especially with not enough staff at times. We recommend trying to reserve a time online, otherwise it can be a long wait. Only issue is not enough parking.
