️ Food: The small plates are standout — dishes like charred cauliflower, crispy halloumi with grilled grapes, and shrimp arancini were particularly memorable. The entrées are creative and flavorful, though a few felt a little uneven in execution.
Drinks & Ambience: The cocktail program is fun and vibrant, perfect for dinner or drinks with friends. The space has a chic and the vibe that feels warm and inviting.
Service: Staff were friendly and helpful. All smiling faces and made food/drink decisions much easier for me.
Overall: Siena delivers inventive dishes, great atmosphere, and a refreshing change from the typical suburb dining options. It’s absolutely worth a try — especially for date night or dinner with friends.
Service: Our server Isabella was amazing! on this!
Food: As for the food, we got the hummus, shrimp aranchini, truffle fries, chicken lollipops and sweet potato falafel cake. The apps are small…very small. Shrimp and chicken are 3 pieces each, fries are a decent size, and hummus is the perfect size.
Price: For the price of $15-$18, this will not work. They either need to increase the size or reduce the price, they totally can’t have both. Our drinks were good. My mezcal drink was perfect, the espresso martini needed to be tweaked. Adding pics so you may judge for yourself.
Definitely sad to see how slow they were after being open for just 2-3 weeks I was hoping to share a more positive experience to get some traction but unfortunately, being an Alpharetta local and a foodie who has some amazing options nearby, I can’t in good conscience recommend family and friends to give Siena a shot without seeing some changes first.
Drinks:
I ordered a Pinot Noir and was served a Pinot Grigio. My sister ordered a mocktail and was brought an alcoholic drink. We received 2 of our 4 drinks within about 20 minutes and waited roughly 45 minutes for the remaining two. When the second round arrived, the drinks were again incorrect. We were offered complimentary drinks due to the delay, but they initially appeared on the bill (this was corrected after I pointed it out).
Service:
It took about an hour after ordering to receive our entrées. A 20% automatic gratuity was added to the bill and was not verbally disclosed beforehand. We were not asked about allergies, and we later realized that several dishes did not match the menu descriptions – for example, the whipped feta included black olives, and the harissa chicken lollipops were topped heavily with honey.
When issues were raised, responsibility was attributed to other staff members rather than an apology or clear resolution being offered. We did interact with a trainee server who was apologetic and attentive, which we appreciated.
To their credit, two complimentary desserts were brought out at the end of the meal. While we appreciated the gesture and did try them, it didn’t offset the overall experience.
We also overheard another group discussing poor service and long waits and observed a different group leave before being served, so it appeared others were experiencing challenges that evening as well.
Food:
Whipped Feta & Burnt Honey: 2/5 (bread was the highlight; the feta lacked flavor and the honey was barely noticeable).
Harissa Chicken Lollipop: 3/5 (sauce had good flavor, but the chicken pieces were very gristly).
Lamb Chops: 3/5 (good flavor, but overcooked and a small portion for the price and hardly any couscous).
The Flame Steak: 1.5/5 (the red chimichurri topping tasted very bitter to us. We were also told steak knives were not available).
Atmosphere:
The atmosphere is beautiful and the space has a great vibe. I hope they’re able to work through the operational issues.
While we personally loved the quiet (empty) atmosphere & attentive service for a romantic date night, I truly hope this place gets packed out soon so that it can stay in Alpharetta & we can come back for seconds++!
Also, easy parking!
