I recently dined at Siena and it’s quickly become one of our favorite new additions to the Alpharetta dining scene. The concept — a “Meditalian” mix of Mediterranean and Italian influences — really shines through in both the menu and the atmosphere.

️ Food: The small plates are standout — dishes like charred cauliflower, crispy halloumi with grilled grapes, and shrimp arancini were particularly memorable. The entrées are creative and flavorful, though a few felt a little uneven in execution.

Drinks & Ambience: The cocktail program is fun and vibrant, perfect for dinner or drinks with friends. The space has a chic and the vibe that feels warm and inviting.

‍ Service: Staff were friendly and helpful. All smiling faces and made food/drink decisions much easier for me.

Overall: Siena delivers inventive dishes, great atmosphere, and a refreshing change from the typical suburb dining options. It’s absolutely worth a try — especially for date night or dinner with friends.

The restaurant is pretty but unfortunately it was completely empty, on a Friday night, near Downtown Alpharetta. This is a big deal for a new place. My friend and I were the only table there, by the end of the night an hour and a bit later, we were 1 of 3 tables.

Service: Our server Isabella was amazing! on this!

Food: As for the food, we got the hummus, shrimp aranchini, truffle fries, chicken lollipops and sweet potato falafel cake. The apps are small…very small. Shrimp and chicken are 3 pieces each, fries are a decent size, and hummus is the perfect size.

Price: For the price of $15-$18, this will not work. They either need to increase the size or reduce the price, they totally can’t have both. Our drinks were good. My mezcal drink was perfect, the espresso martini needed to be tweaked. Adding pics so you may judge for yourself.

Definitely sad to see how slow they were after being open for just 2-3 weeks I was hoping to share a more positive experience to get some traction but unfortunately, being an Alpharetta local and a foodie who has some amazing options nearby, I can’t in good conscience recommend family and friends to give Siena a shot without seeing some changes first.

CICI! This woman was hands down the BEST server I’ve encountered in a long time! She was so attentive and kind and personable! And the food is freaking AMAZING. Every dish! We got the hummus plate and goat cheese appetizer to start. Incredible. Then he got the oxtail and I got the couscous bowl with shrimp and both dishes were divine. I have no words. To top it off, the entire place is such a vibe!!! We will totally be back! (Bathrooms were also top tier!)

Yikes. I had high hopes for this place. I know they’ve only been open about a month and a half, but after choosing it for a birthday dinner, we won’t be returning. Sharing our experience below.

Drinks:
I ordered a Pinot Noir and was served a Pinot Grigio. My sister ordered a mocktail and was brought an alcoholic drink. We received 2 of our 4 drinks within about 20 minutes and waited roughly 45 minutes for the remaining two. When the second round arrived, the drinks were again incorrect. We were offered complimentary drinks due to the delay, but they initially appeared on the bill (this was corrected after I pointed it out).

Service:
It took about an hour after ordering to receive our entrées. A 20% automatic gratuity was added to the bill and was not verbally disclosed beforehand. We were not asked about allergies, and we later realized that several dishes did not match the menu descriptions – for example, the whipped feta included black olives, and the harissa chicken lollipops were topped heavily with honey.

When issues were raised, responsibility was attributed to other staff members rather than an apology or clear resolution being offered. We did interact with a trainee server who was apologetic and attentive, which we appreciated.

To their credit, two complimentary desserts were brought out at the end of the meal. While we appreciated the gesture and did try them, it didn’t offset the overall experience.

We also overheard another group discussing poor service and long waits and observed a different group leave before being served, so it appeared others were experiencing challenges that evening as well.

Food:
Whipped Feta & Burnt Honey: 2/5 (bread was the highlight; the feta lacked flavor and the honey was barely noticeable).
Harissa Chicken Lollipop: 3/5 (sauce had good flavor, but the chicken pieces were very gristly).
Lamb Chops: 3/5 (good flavor, but overcooked and a small portion for the price and hardly any couscous).
The Flame Steak: 1.5/5 (the red chimichurri topping tasted very bitter to us. We were also told steak knives were not available).

Atmosphere:
The atmosphere is beautiful and the space has a great vibe. I hope they’re able to work through the operational issues.

We tried out this newer place for an anniversary date night, and the food and service (thanks Isabel!) was absolutely fantastic!! Every dish we tried was superb! Ordered apps: lamb skewers (omgggg…would order this EVERY TIME) & sweet potato falafel cake (small portion, but yummy). My husband got the oxtail (pasta dish- delicious but not enough protein for his preference) & I ordered Hen of the woods (creamy mushroom pasta dish + Steak/ good size portion) that now has to be one of my favorite meals ever… The flavors were ! A dish made just for me! Had a fruity mocktail & baklava cheesecake for dessert….also 10/10 for something delicious and different.
While we personally loved the quiet (empty) atmosphere & attentive service for a romantic date night, I truly hope this place gets packed out soon so that it can stay in Alpharetta & we can come back for seconds++!
Also, easy parking!

I recently discovered this restaurant and couldn’t resist trying it out. The ambiance was fantastic! However, the music was a bit too loud for my liking, making it difficult to have conversations at the bar or table. I opted for a seat at the bar, where I sat with Chrysten, she was very attentive and friendly. Her drinks and conversations were top-notch. I started with a Caesar salad that was far from your average Caesar—it was incredibly fresh and flavorful. My entree was okay, but I felt it could have used a bit more flavor. The presentation was fun, and I’ve included a video to showcase it. I must mention that I don’t appreciate the automatic tipping system. Overall, my experience was average.

Amazing flavors, professional service, relaxing and hip decor. This re-imagined spot just off Main Street in Alpharetta will be added to our go to list. We loved our starters (whipped feta & burnt honey, sweet potato falafel) which set the perfect scene for our savory mains (lamb chops & Moroccan chicken with Apricot harissa). My aromatic Monaco cocktail was good to the last elegant drop of St. Germain, prosecco and passion fruit! Love love and more love xxx

I have to say, I drove 50 minutes to get there and it was worth it for sure. Atmosphere and food were amazing. The falafel and the chicken lollipops are a must. Got the oxtails pasta and it was beyond expectations. Definitely gonna be back again. Highly recommend.

I took my wife here on 2/15, because we rarely go for the the actual day of Valentine’s Day. I had made an earlier reservation, so it was relatively quiet when we got there. We were seated promptly. The decor is great! Slightly retro with black and white inlay to the floor, jazz music playing, & sleek windows. Our server, Carly, was amazing! She gave us some suggestions for drinks & appetizers to share. I had Abuelo’s Way for my drink & iyvqas very smooth! My wife had a drink called Voodoo Child, which was also very good. We shared the whipped feta with burnt honey, which we both enjoyed very much. The sweetness of the honey helped to buffer the saltines of the feta. Then we had the grilled haloumi bruschetta appetizer. WOW! I did not think it would be that good, but it was fantastic! For dinner, we shared the Hen of the Woods, a mushroom alfredo papardelle. We added chicken and the had a side of the truffle fries. We were both so full we didn’t have room for dessert. Either way, service was excellent, drinks were deliciously smooth, & the food was wonderful! Do yourself a favor & hit this place up!!

Wow, my wife and I decided to come here to celebrate our Valentine’s Day early last night. We were both very pleased. Our server, Isabel, was extremely attentive and knowledgeable on the drinks and food. We went with all her recommendations and will be asking for her when we come back. We had the Monaco and Italian Job cocktails that were well balanced and not too sweet. Our favorite was the octopus and golden oxtail. They also lit up the steak on fire for us and had a beautiful saxophone player live.
