Chicago Williams BBQ is built around slow smoke and a proper rest, and the food reads that way: soft fibers, rendered fat, clean smoke, no unnecessary show.
My tray was ribs, brisket, pulled pork topped with pickled onions and jalapeños, plus mac & cheese, pickles, mustard and the house sauces. The ribs land best: solid smoke, a tidy bite, sauce applied with restraint. The brisket is tender and moist, with a pleasant smoke line; I wanted more bark and pepper heat, more of that dry edge that makes brisket feel finished. The pulled pork is straightforward—moist, gently smoky—and the pickles/jalapeños do the important work of cutting through the richness.
Mac & cheese is rich and mild, good as comfort but not especially distinctive. The sauces are fine, but they’re loud enough to flatten the nuance if you lean on them.
Service is quick and efficient. Overall: good, honest barbecue that delivers what you expect.

The specialty of this small but very efficient restaurant is brisket. The service was very fast, the waiter was very pleasant and patient to our requests.
The brisket itself was very test, soft, juicy. Two slices of this beef good portion for dinner.
The crispy French fries were added value by side salad.
We were doubt to find such an interesting and crowded place close to Kudam, on the small side street.

We had a reservation for a busy Sat night, and ended up sitting at the bar, which most probably had more space than the standard tables.
Really enjoyed the atmosphere. Food was amazing especially the brisket.
Staff worked really hard and well as a team. Will certainly return in the future.

We had a very good experience here. We didn’t have a reservation, it was on a Saturday night, the place really was packed but they accommodated us! Upon walked in you get a welcome treat, a cup of corn soup which was really good. We ordered the meat platter and some cocktails. The food was amazing, cocktails were on fire and the staff was very welcoming and attentive. The atmosphere was very laid back, cozy and the music was on fire. I certainly recommend it to everyone who loves to eat meat. I will certainly be back here when in Berlin. My favorite was the beef brisket!! Yummmmmy

Friendly staff and we were served super quickly. The food was amazing — we tried the Meat Platters (beef brisket, ribs, smoked turkey, BBQ chicken half bird, pulled pork, and beef & cheese sausages) plus the Philly cheesesteak. For starters we had beef bites and french fries, and everything was really tasty and delicious. Definitely worth a visit!

All of the food here was so delicious. Everyone was friendly, the meat melted in my mouth, it’s been a long time since I’ve had BBQ like that. We tried the pulled pork, brisket, ribs, mac and cheese, mashed potatoes, and fries. I can recommend all of it, and I’m excited to try some of the other thing when I come back again.

6 people showed up, no reservations, no problem. A busy night but still got good vibes and good service. Waiting 20 minutes for the table and were offered drinks while waiting. Fast service and incredibly good food. No doubt, 5 stars in every box. Thank you guys, I’ll be back!!

Just off Kudamm in the heart of the shopping district.
This restaurant sits amongst a long list of competition encompassing just about every country you can imagine.
Even with all this competition, this place has found a very viable and attractive alternative to the normal fare on offer.
Chicago Williams offers a small but well thought out menu which happens to include two of my particular favourites from the US.
The classic BBQ Spare Ribs and the Philly Cheese Steak sandwich are truly worthy of high praise indeed. The sides on offer are also worth noting. The mash and gravy and the mac/cheese perfect in accompanying the mains.
Drink selection in abundance, fantastic staff and a lively atmosphere make this an easy 5* recommendation.
One thing to note, as it can bother some is that the staff are very attentive and your glass tends to be refilled more often than I have every seen anywhere in Berlin (or Germany for that matter).
This type of friendly/attentive service is very deliberate as its more in keeping with the US than Europe and this restaurant is very much pushing that theme.

The food is very good. We ordered the BBQ ribs, Beef bites and Mac & cheese everything was tender and flavorful. We didn’t have to wait for a table, and they welcomed us with a sample of the jalapeño corn soup, which was also delicious.
They usually seat you at a large table with other people; the servers were very friendly and efficient.
It’s also worth noting that we were served by someone who spoke both English and Spanish.
In short, it’s a place I would return to and recommend 100%.
