Pretty good Mexican restaurant. The place is clean, lots of seating, not great for large groups though, mostly booths. Food came out so quickly, the birria tacos are fantastic, the fajitas were good but all the steak pieces were full of fat and chewy, other than that food and service were good.

The family was in Tooele for graduation photos at the Stansbury Lake. Found this place. What a great surprise very authentic Mexican food, great service check the photos, we had about one of everything. Super yummy. Highly recommend and we will travel here from Lehi to eat here again.

The food, service, and atmosphere were all good. The price was a little on the higher side for a family-owned restaurant, but the salad bar was a really cool experience.
The food came out very fast. My only small issue was that the taco shells were a bit soggy, and I wish they had been a little fresher. Other than that, everything was good.

Hector was amazing! We showed up for a cultural breakfast experience for our kids at around 11:00 am and Hector treated us like royalty. He was generous with the chips and tortillas and encouraged us to try every salsa type at the salsa bar. He even recommended a few combinations that were delicious. (Creamy jalapeno plus roasted cilantro was a family favorite!)
The food was delicious. The portion sizes were just right. To finish off our meal, Hector shared a bunch of slices of yummy Tres Leches cake. It’s been a week since we were there, but my wife keeps asking for an excuse to get us back out to Tooele. Thank you, Hector!

I would have given it a 5, but I thought the Birria platter was lacking a little! My wife really enjoyed her chili verde. Our server was great! Very attentive and knowledgeable! Definitely will be back!!

Their tamales are awful. They taste like theyve been frozen for a month and just reheated in the microwave. Their tacos were slightly better better but still abismal compared to various offerings from other Mexican restaurants in the area
They had excellent friendly service from their waiters but that’s not enough to eat overpriced bad food.
Both tamales and tacos are over $3.25 dollars each, when there are several other options in West Valley/SLC for as low as half priced and miles tastier.
My first impression of Vista Linda was very poor. They appear to be taking advantage of a small towns lack of Mexican cuisine, by provide subpar food at a high quality restaurant price.

Great staff, cozy atmosphere, friendly.
The food was underwhelming. Not horrible, but for example the beans were watery, and most everything I had was kinda bland. The prices are good which is why I don’t rate it lower.

I want to start out by saying the service was amazing! The chips and salsa were good. But for the food, super unimpressive. The hubby got a carne asada burrito. It literally had maybe five pieces of meat in the whole burrito. And I had the smothered burrito. But they just smother it with salsa basically and it was a tad bitter. The horchata taste like the powder kind. We won’t be going back any time soon.

I recently moved to Stansbury and I was doing some errands in Tooele. I had to stop to eat something really fast and this cute little place was on my way out.
I came around 5pm, the restaurant was empty but it was probably their slow hrs.
Food came super fast and services was good.
I ordered the crispy beef tacos. Plate came with Mexican red rice and beans.
I was looking forward to eat the rice but it just didn’t have that great Mexican red rice flavor 🙁
The beans looked like they weee watered down so the great natural flavor of beans wasn’t there either.
The crispy tacos were ok… but as in for me, I don’t think I’ll be coming back
I wish you the best Vista Linda!!!

The chips and salsa here are decent. The salsa is a little watered down but has a good flavor. We ordered taco salads. The taco bowls were nice and crispy, not overcooked. I ordered mine with carne asada. It was disappointing that you have to pay extra to get salad dressing on a salad. That’s like charging extra for condiments on a burger or charging extra for ketchup for your fries. The food was decent, but not for the price. $42 for two taco salads, the dressing for the salad, and two drinks is a bit much. While the food was decent, we probably wont be back.
