It does not say anywhere that this is a ghost kitchen. Maybe the whole rest of the world already knows this, but my friend and I didn’t. I will often meet my friend, who is a burger junkie, at various burger joints and restaurants around NJ and PA. We’ll find an appetizing menu or picture and decide to try it out. So was the case with Mr beast Burger when I googled “burgers near me” and found very appealing photos. I made arrangements to eat here with my friend, who drove up from PA, and we met in the parking lot. Got concerned when we didn’t see a storefront anywhere. Then he suggested it might be a ghost kitchen either in Massimo’s or Friendly’s. We talked to someone at friendly’s to find out how we could pick up the food or have it “delivered” to the parking lot where we were, but they didn’t know. Got hopeful when we began the online ordering process because it was going to allow us to choose pick up or curbside but on the next screen it said curbside was not available for this location. All around a very upsetting and disappointing experience and we wound up eating elsewhere. It would be super helpful to state up front and center someplace that this is a ghost kitchen because my friend and I both looked at the Google shingle and the website and did not see that information.
