Welcome to the beach and to Bubba’s Seafood House! We’ve been an Orange Beach favorite with locals and tourists alike since we opened in 1997. Just recently, we remodeled everyone’s favorite hangout and made it even better. We enclosed our front porch, built another bar area, set up the Famous Bushwhacker Bar, and built a 40-foot lighthouse pass-through on the way outdoors. Plus, we built the biggest sandbox on the island for all the kiddos to enjoy. You’ve gotta come check us out. Bubba’s Seafood House offers grilled, blackened, steamed or fried menu items. Our seafood platters boast delicious combinations to please any palate. We have what you’re in the mood for: shrimp, fish oysters, crab legs or a great steak. It’s ALL HERE at Bubba’s!

Roadhouse with colorful vintagey decor & a wraparound porch specializing in fish of all kinds.

Well, I checked the review before stopping by this place. The parking lot was clean and well kept. Walking in the door, we were greeted by smiling faces. This place was clean. Now to the food. We ordered the 1/2 & 1/2 shrimp and crab legs and pick your own, which was fish and oyster. The shrimp and legs were steamed very well but needed more season. The fish and oysters were good. I’m not sure if we would go back, but it was a nice drive and a cute spot. If this review was helpful, please give it a thumb up or if it didn’t help thumb down. Remember to always be kind to others and be safe out there.

I was genuinely impressed by the remarkable quality and taste of the dishes at this restaurant. Despite its 3.9-star rating, the food far exceeded my expectations. I highly recommend this establishment for its exceptional cuisine.

Stopped in with the family while on vacation in Orange Beach. We were greeted straight away by a friendly lady who got us seated immediately. After 15 minutes with no wait staff appearing we went back to the counter to ask about our server. They apologized and got someone over to take out drink order. The lady was very apologetic and friendly. She took our order and got us our drinks pretty quickly. Manager stopped by and apologized for the delay.

From there we were back on track and things went smoothly. My son and I had burgers and my daughter had a grilled chicken salad. Wife got a seafood platter with fried Mahi Mahi, crab cakes and crab legs. Food was great all around. No issues. Burgers were double patties, cooked properly and delicious.

They had TVs so we could watch the Olympics highlights which was nice as both kids compete in track and field.

Overall a good meal and we’d definitely go back. It’s very pricey, but it’s a tourist town so you know that going in, it’s not a surprise.

Really wonderful experience, darling and fun decor, great waitstaff, Carlos met us at the door to welcome us, there is a variety of dishes including the deep fried pickles (everyone at our table loved them!), I cannot eat Gluten so, sadly, couldn’t try them. I had the grilled grouper, it was exquisite, perfectly grilled, very delicious, I selected green beans and a smashed potato for my 2 sides. Others ate a chicken quesadilla, shrimp – prepared several ways, and beach tacos. We were delighted with the complete experience.

We were here three years ago, and it was great. So, we thought we’d revisit for an anniversary dinner. We were seated immediately, but the waitress said the kitchen was having issues, so we would be there for a while. It looked pretty much the same, but the food was disappointing. We each got the Bubba’s BIG 10 Fried Shrimp. I can have frozen food at home! Check out the side of slaw in the photo. $3.25 and the portion is slightly larger than a heaping tablespoon! Ridiculous! They kitchen had “fallen behind” alright. Sad to see such a decline from where it was three years ago!

Our party of 6 waited about 45 minutes to be seated. Our waiter was friendly. He brought our drinks out quickly. Our food did take a while to come out. The shrimp skewers were good. Blackened mahi was good as well as the rice grits. Crab cakes were good too. Green beans were really good.

My family and I ate here one night 30 minutes before closing. The food was fresh and hot, but for a seafood restaurant, we felt like it was missing some seasonings that could have made it better. The restaurant was clean and the service was fast. Our waitress was very sweet. The prices were kind of steep. Example: 32.00 for 12 baked oysters? We’ve been to many restaurants and have eaten many an oyster and have never had to pay that much for something so simple. Just so you know, we were visiting the area for the first time, so maybe the locals like it better. FYI the prices on the menu did not completely match what the receipt so be sure to ask for pricing before you order.

We were seated quickly, surprising for the area. Had great service too!! We had lots of different things: raw oysters, fried oysters, crab legs, fried shrimp, grilled shrimp, peel and eat, fries, puppies, crab cakes, corn, taters etc. (some of that was in the seafood tower thingys they offer, I’ll include pics). It was all super yummy!!! We’ll go back next time we’re in the area.

Cool atmosphere. Jenny was our bartender. She was terrific and provided us good, quick service. She even reminded us of their happy hour ending so we could get in another $3.50 mixed drink before it ended! Happy hour is from 3-5pm with discounts on drinks. Their peel n eats are normally served chilled, we asked if we could order them warm and they sure did that for us! They were served with lots of Lemons but unfortunately they were rotting so we did not use them. The shrimp were good.
