We’ve visited Dosa Grill multiple times in the past, hoping the service would improve, but unfortunately, it has only gotten worse.
Every visit has come with long wait times, incorrect orders, and a confusing system where customers who ordered after us received their food first. On our most recent visit, the dosa was cold and tasteless, with cold, mushy potato stuffing inside. The vada lacked flavor as well. I asked for extra sambar but never received it.
On a previous visit, guests who arrived after us were seated while we were told to wait 30–45 minutes. That day, we decided to leave.
The service structure itself seems flawed — one server takes the order and another brings the food. If you ask the second server for anything additional, don’t expect follow-through. Requests seem to go in one ear and out the other.
This place has truly gone downhill. Ownership should step out and see what it really means to serve flavorful food and provide attentive customer service. My family is done dining here — yesterday was our last visit.

I highly recommend this place. The staff are friendly and the food is delicious. We ordered the chef’s special, the Onion Rava Masala Dosa and the Kadai chicken. The kadai chicken curry was just the right amount of spicy, and I couldn’t stop craving it. The onion lava masala dosa, paired with various sauces, had a mild, protein-rich flavor that perfectly complemented my palate. I’d love to come back and try some of the other dishes.

Food is good, but you have to deal with slow service, incorrect dishes being served, and order queues that makes make no sense. We have come here 3 times to give them a chance cause the food was good, but the service gets worse each time. This time when we asked about how people who ordered the same dosas after us got theirs first. The answer was perfect, “the chef stopped to cook appetizers right before your dosas.” DO WHAT! This will be the last time we visit this restaurant.

We tried Dosa Grill recently and ordered gobi manchuria, puri chole, garlic naans, kadai paneer, and gutti vankaya biryani. Honestly, the food was really good overall — everything was flavorful and well made. The gobi manchuria, puri chole, garlic naan, and kadai paneer were especially tasty. Gobi manchuria was the best of all.
The only issue with the food was the gutti vankaya biryani. The eggplant was undercooked and very hard.
The staff was friendly and welcoming, which was nice. That said, the cleanliness was a big letdown. The area around the seating didn’t look well maintained, and the restrooms were in very bad condition. It definitely affected the overall experience, and it’s something they really need to fix, as it could cause bigger problems if ignored.
Great food, but the place really needs to improve on cleanliness.

Nice Clean place. Food is Excellent. Not too spicy, just the right heat.
The chicken biryani is excellent. The tandoori chicken is the best I ever had

This place has really gone down the drain. Don’t know if the ownership changed or what happened. Cold, tasteless Dosa. Cold, mushy potato stuffing inside. Hard Idlis, poor taste and even worse look. I’ve been here dozens of times since the place opened years ago and never been this disappointed. Chutney and sambar was ok. If you call yourself Dosa Grill you need to get that Dosa right. Again aside from being cold, the batter is not Dosa didn’t taste like Dosa. Same for Idli. Tasted like some improvisation. Hope they fix things and get back on track.

Dined in for a quick lunch today while holiday shopping. Everything we ordered was delicious . I had the chicken biryani which was spiced perfectly and they included a side salad, yogurt & a curry. My husband had chicken chettinad & he was very impressed with how authentic it tasted. His entree came with rice on the side. Prices were pretty reasonable too!!
We were always skeptical about this place due to the bad reviews. I beg to differ & I’d say the restaurant was packed and everyone around me was very happy with their food. (It’s a pretty small place & you can hear everyone. So yeah, not a place for a romantic dinner/lunch for sure). Highly recommend this place & we will definitely be back to try the dosas.

I was there late afternoon for coffee and samosas. Got the coffee right away and it was pretty good for Indian filter coffee. I was waiting for samosa and it took a while to get it. I saw 3 staffs walked around and nobody bothered to ask what I’m waiting for or updating why or when I would get my order.
Hope they didn’t think i was meditating in the middle of the day. . A simple “Your samosas are coming,” could have turned this fiasco into a minor hiccup. oh I got samosas after 20 minutes.
You’ll need the patience of a saint and the optimism of an Easter egg hunter. Not again.

I have not had good luck here. First time we had to wait 30 minutes for the food to come out. Second time we did a to go order and they only gave us one set of potatoes for 2 dosas. Third time they made me wait 75 minutes to give me the wrong dosa order and didn’t even given me the potato curry with it. I was hoping this place could be reliable but I can’t do it any more. The actual taste is satisfactory. Potato curry is a bit runny.

Halal food. Delicious. It is spicy, even the mild will be a bit spicy for people who don’t do a lot of spicy food. The location is great and the portions are perfect. The dosas are huge! Plus, they had cool Indian cooking shows on the tvs but there wasn’t any noise or music which was great.
