Honestly had to stop eating in order to write this. We were tired of the burgers and pizza and wow this hit the spot. I’d never heard of this place and being connected to the gas station didn’t really catch my eye but it’s amazing. The menu is simple keeping everything fresh and cooked to order. I’m not sure what sauce they use but it made the whole thing come together. I’ll definitely be back again as food was 10/10 and it helped that service was great, kind friendly smiles and goodbye wishes.

Went today for the first time. Excellent fish tacos. Simple, fresh, and very tasty. And big. Tortilla, slab of freshly cooked fish, purple cabbage and a little sauce, And plenty of limes. I wouldn’t complain if they added some pico de gallo to the presentation, but it was very, very good. The people working there were extra nice, as well. 10/10.

On a day we weren’t sure where to go, we pulled into the gas station on the corner of frontage and Alton Gloor and right next to it is this cute little spot. They only have one type of fish tacos in 2 different servings so that’s what we ordered and the fish were delicious, the customer service extremely welcoming, friendly, and so sweet! Though the fish were perfectly cooked and crispy without being oily, I LOVED the cucumber agua fresca! Delicious! We’ll be back!

Delicious. They serve one thing and it make it fresh, 4 minutes. Crispy fried fish, fresh crunchy cabbage, yummy sauce. Excellent. I love that some of the best tacos in the RGV are next to gas stations. Almost forgot the cucumber limeade that does indeed taste like paradise.

If you haven’t tried Chirina’s Fish Tacos yet, you’re missing out on something special! The fish tacos are hands-down some of the best I’ve ever had – perfectly crispy, fresh, and full of flavor in every bite. You can tell they use high-quality ingredients, and the taste speaks for itself.
Beyond the amazing food, the customer service is truly top-notch. The staff is friendly, attentive, and genuinely cares about making sure every customer leaves happy. It’s rare to find a place where you feel so welcomed and appreciated.

The fish tacos are super fresh and delicious! The fish is crispy and juicy. The flavor is perfect! They are some of the very best fish tacos I have ever had. I will be coming here all the time! The service is great and everyone is friendly. Great job, Chirina’s Fish Tacos!

I’ve been going to Chirinas for years since they opened just as a small shop in Humble Downtown Brownsville. The food has been amazing since day one and somehow seems to get better each time. The staff are always friendly and helpful cant wait for my next visit.

Dayan and Eileen were super friendly very proactive in their service. This place has some of the best fried fish tacos I’ve ever tasted. I trust a place that does one thing well.
