On our way through Bangor we stopped here for late lunch. Sometimes we miss out where they open later. We could go here and just eat the rolls and butter, they are so good.
Service is always amazing. No searching for your waitress for more water, they automatically come by with more when you have less than half a glass. They automatically drop off more rolls when the first basket is done. She actually asked if we wanted a 3rd, where our meals had already arrived. Never had a bad experience. You also pay at the table. So no waiting for a receipt.
My son got the pulled pork dinner, he did ask for extra sauce. She came back with 2 more cups…no extra charges. His meal came with a roll and 2 sides. He picked rice and veggies.
I went with the cheeseburger meal thinking it would be a smaller serving where there was just one side. Came with typical bacon, cheese, lettuce, tomato and opted for no onion, with a side of fries. You also get a pickle spear on the side. We both enjoyed our meals, I could not finish mine.

Always my fav place to go when in Bangor, visiting from NB. 8 oz fillet is my fav, with loaded baked and rice. Mmmm! Wait staff are great! Food, drink rock. Never leave hungry.

This location always rocks it. Staff super friendly. This visit was during Super Bowl weekend and everyone was in a great mood. The food was fantastic as always. My only complaint was the one waiter wearing a dolphins jersey, but I won’t hold it against him. lol.

This was my very first time dining at this Texas Roadhouse, and I have to say it was a solid experience ️✨ We were seated immediately, and the service was both prompt and attentive — the staff made us feel welcome right away The food was cooked just right, hot and flavorful, which is always a plus.
I did notice, though, that the steaks seemed to be missing that unique, bold flavor that I remember from Texas Roadhouse in the past Still, they were enjoyable and satisfying. Had never been to a Texas roadhouse, very western atmosphere (obviously), our waitress was super kind, even made a note about my allergy which I found was nice of her to accommodate. I definitely liked the vibe, my food was not bad, got steak and a baked potato, steak was pretty good my potato was extremely salty, I couldn’t finish it. Otherwise not bad and probably would visit again.

Texas Roadhouse has always been one of my favorite places to go…until last week. We were sat quickly after my mother picked her steak(bone in ribeye). I opted for the porterhouse. Both were to be cooked medium rare. We both ordered side salads, loaded baked potato for mom, loaded sweet potato for me. The salads came out first, they were very fresh and good tasting, but waaaay smaller than they used to be. After finishing our tiny salads, they brought out the steaks and potatoes. Both sets of potatoes were cold, as if they were dished up before the steaks had been put on and sat in the kitchen to get room temperature. Moms steak came out perfectly cooked, but it was more gristle and fat than steak. My porterhouse came out overcooked by a long shot. The waitress did stop to see how our steaks were and I told her that I needed a new one….she said that she thought so when she brought it out to me. I waited about 35 minutes for my new medium rare steak to come out. Mom didn’t want to eat alone, so hardly had any of her steak…Bottom line, both were a great treat for my 4 standard poodles. Don’t waste your money, they charge way too much for what you get and the quality of the food.

Togo girl was incredibly sassy and snappy. I always try to say hello and be pleasant since I know how the industry can be. Zero pleasantries, full attitude right from the get go. I asked for extra butter and was charged for it. Received only one package of butter when it normally comes with two, with that understanding I should’ve gotten four since I asked for extra. For now simple my order was, and even leaving tip, I don’t understand why the service had to be so terrible.

Service was decent and the atmosphere was nice but I wasn’t impressed with the food. The rolls and butter were great don’t get me wrong but I ordered a full thing of ribs and they were so bland, dry, I could only stomach eating two.
I had my partner try it and he agreed they were not good and tasted burnt.
Was super disappointed but I didn’t wanna be a pain because we were having a rough time deciding on food.
Was not worth the price at all.
I don’t think I would come back if I’m honest.
The chili my partner ordered was good so if you do go definitely stay away from the ribs.

Dinner last night was great! We were sat quickly, bathrooms were clean. Service was quick. Michelle our server was excellent, and did hit all the marks on “telling the story” and suggesting specific items. Food was yummy and so was the takeout we took home to my husband. Great job Bangor crew !

If you like it loud and busy, this is the place to be. Food and service are typical of the chain, and in my opinion better than most other chains. If you set the expectation that you’ll get decent food, at a decent price, and it’s not going to be some intimate setting, you won’t be disappointed.
Drinks are overpriced, with just water and no appetizer i was able to get a steak dinner for under $30 with tip.
