This place featured some of the smallest sushi I’ve seen in a long time. The role was the size of a soda bottle cap. And that was the bigger cuts. Nothing was particularly good, just basic normal sushi you find anywhere else. And the lunch special that runs to 3 o’clock according to the sign posted, apparently ends at 2:30 when I arrived. I thought this was better long ago, but apparently cost cutting and whatever else has set in. $35 for two itty-bitty rolls and a soda was extreme for what I got. Time to go somewhere else.

I went here based on the good ratings, and I wasn’t disappointed. There’s not an extensive menu, but the sushi was fresh. It’s a small shop, the owners were friendly, and I will return. I also really like that he uses gloves when he makes the sushi.

Really fresh sushi, in my opinion the best in Richmond. Every roll I’ve had has been amazing. I think my favorite is the spicy seafood roll with salmon. Freshness really makes the difference and they have really good prices for the quality you get. Plus you don’t have to pay a tip like most sushi restaurants. Also they have a 5$ sushi roll deal every Wednesday night which is amazing. Good quality sushi for 5 bucks, can’t beat that.

I moved here from NJ I’m march and havent gotten around to trying to find a new favorite place for sushi. So SO glad I stumbled upon this place today! Best sushi I’ve had in a long time. The owners are so pleasant and their son is adorable! I’m always happy to support an family owned business like this one. I will definitely be back!

Randomly stumbled upon this gem and can’t stop thinking about their salmon roll. It was absolutely delicious and came out quick, not even ten minutes. I didn’t check reviews before ordering and you know it’s good when I looked them up after my first or second bite. I had to see if anyone else experienced what I had. I couldn’t explain it until I read someone say it — “fresh” is exactly the word to describe why it was so delish!

Small little Sushi place. I got a google roll and a crunchy California roll. They were out of Yellow Tail and Tamago which was a bit disappointing but I’m not going to take a star off because I want local places to do well and deserve good reviews. Everything was prepared quickly and tasted great. I like that they provided a small cup for the soy sauce, that was a nice touch.
