I had such a beautiful experience here. The food was absolutely incredible — the meat literally fell right off the bone. Every bite was flavorful and perfectly cooked.

What truly made the night special, though, was the people. The manager Jaimee was so attentive and supportive to the bartender Logan, which says a lot about the atmosphere of the place. The bartender herself was incredibly kind and sweet — you can feel when people genuinely care, and it shows here.

Wonderful people, wonderful service, wonderful food. I will absolutely be back.

It was all good. Tried the Dragon Chicken because it was recommended. Ordered it Mild and it was still too spicy for me. Had to opt. for the Tikka Masala, which was wonderful. The garlic naan was perfect. The Tandoor Chicken comes with 3 legs and a giant plate of rice! Pretty pricy for mainly rice. Our lovely server brought me a mango drink to cleanse my pallet from the spicy Dragon Chicken. Also some yogurt dip was a nice touch with my Tikka. Overall, would return it in the area. Wouldn’t make a special trip just to eat here. I’ve had more flavorful Indian Food in other locations that are just as far a drive. Glad we tried it though!

Aahaa is a Ah-naah. From the hostess to our absent server the service was subpar, the atmosphere was not very welcoming- more going through the motions. The food (tried the restaurant week menu) hot&sour soup(with chicken) was neither hot nor sour- more sweet with what taste like precooked microwaved chicken(no flavor) samosa was fine but soft, the Apollo chicken was mid at best but lacked flavor, when entrees came the runner brought out butter chicken & when I told her its not mine I ordered off the restaurant wk menu she said yea thats on there too(it definitely was not & I ordered the chicken tikka masala) all they forgot the garlic naan & it took forever(1 piece cut in half) everything lacked a depth of flavor & the spice level was non existent-there are much more flavorful options than this instagram/TikTok hyped up place

We were looking for Masala Dosa and we found this restaurant when we googled the food we were wanting. The food was delicious and held vibrant colors and a depth of flavor you want with Indian Cuisine. We had a mishap with the Samosa’s, they were beautiful golden brown, and frozen in the middle. We brought it to the attention of the individual who brought our main entree’s, he took our plates and returned with fresh ones that were not frozen, thoroughly cooked and still with a beautiful golden brown with a delicate but powerful flavor. Highly recommend them. The Masala Dosa also was packed with flavor paired with the sauces was a true delightful experience. Our main entree’s was the lamb and curry dish that was served with rice and naan, again, a delicious flavor packed that left a slight warmth . The wait staff was attentive, professional and knowledgeable of the food they served. This restaurant was recently involved in an area food challenge supporting Don Bosco centers and took second place….If you enjoy Indian Cuisine and you have not experienced Aahaa, please do, you won’t be disappointed..Robin

Fantastic Indian food! We were delighted with our experience and we tried several dishes of which all were great. Our server, Patrick was prompt, friendly, informative and knowledgeable about all the dishes. The host that ….uh “greeted” us is not exactly the best for my first impression .

We had the BEST experience tonight at this restaurant. From the moment we walked in, everything was amazing.. the atmosphere was warm and inviting, the food was absolutely incredible, and the service truly made the night unforgettable.

Every dish was packed with flavor, perfectly spiced, and beautifully presented. You can tell everything is made with care and authenticity. We were seriously impressed with every bite.

But what really made our night was our server, Jamie. She was attentive without being overbearing, so kind, knowledgeable about the menu, and had the sweetest personality. She gave great recommendations and made us feel so welcomed and taken care of. It’s rare to find service that genuinely elevates the entire dining experience, and Jamie did exactly that.

We will absolutely be back, and we’ll definitely be asking for Jamie again! Highly recommend to anyone looking for amazing food and even better service.

Updated Review:
This has easily become my favorite Indian restaurant. Keep in mind, my first review of Aahaa’s wasn’t terrible — I gave it 3 out of 5 stars. I just felt that the attention of the staff was focused on a table that had a film crew. I chalked it up to it being restaurant week, and I did think the food was great, just lukewarm.

Through email dialogue with the owner, Nick, he wanted to make it up to me and show me the true Aahaa’s experience. I decided to take him up on this offer today. My brother and I were already planning to go back to give it a fair chance because we loved the taste of the cuisine.

Under normal circumstances, I wouldn’t accept a free meal simply because I feel like the restaurant might overcompensate for the last experience. But after speaking with Nick, I felt he was a man of integrity who took ownership and was willing to right the wrong.

Upon arrival, we were seated, and Nick came out to speak with us. He was very welcoming. Our waitress — forgive me, I forgot her name — had great energy and was very helpful in guiding us with our selections. These are the items we had:

Appetizers:
Samosas — 4.5 out of 5
Cauliflower bites — 5 out of 5
Dragon chicken — 4.9 out of 5

Entrées:
Scallop & Shrimp Moilee — 5 out of 5
Juicy Lamb Shank Mandi — 4.87 out of 5
Basket of assorted naan bread — 5 out of 5

Dessert:
I don’t remember the names, but both were 5 out of 5.

The flavors of everything felt like I was invited over for a home-style meal. Everything tasted fresh, well-seasoned, and made with love. The only thing we didn’t like was the rice that came with the lamb shank. It wasn’t bad, but the minty aftertaste threw us off. When we brought it up to Nick, he told us they were planning to take it off the menu because several customers had similar experiences.

Overall, Aahaa’s has now become my go-to for Indian cuisine. I will definitely be returning in the near future. Overall experience: 100 out of 5. Thanks to Nick and his staff for holding true to your word.

If your looking for True Indian food which sometimes takes 1 hour to 1.5 hours to see at your table , this isn’t the place.
Now if your new to India this is a great starter Indian restaurant. Everything prepared is mild in taste. The food is good. Prepared ahead of diners coming into the restaurant, fast food type service.
We ordered very hot vindaloo but to the son disappointment was mild. Ordered very very spicy how vindaloo should be served . Taste of everything was good didn’t get anything you couldn’t eat.
I think it may have been the owner or manager ask how the food was, told her we ordered the vindaloo extremely hot and the dish had barely any heat.she stated the heat will come , sorry it did not .
She was very dismissive and said we can take it back and add spice. Kind of how it was ordered ,I said to her.
Found out it’s all made medium.
So good place for the taste .If you have never had Indian food this is a great place to start.
If you want authentic Indian food the select is wide with Indian food restaurants in kansas and kansas city mo . Lots of options.
Give them a try this is based solely on my pallet and everyone’s tastes are their own.
