I love Black Angus. My most recent trip was on Thanksgiving, and I had the turkey dinner special. It wasn’t bad. I got full, and the sweet potatoes were hands down, best I ever had. I don’t like sweet potatoes. These were delicious. I had to ask my server what are these? I sat in the bar, so I didn’t have to wait, but people who came in to sit elsewhere had a bit of a wait. A lot of people come here to avoid cooking the big holiday meal, so pack your patience if you come for that. The servers hustle and work hard, so let your tip so your appreciation. I’ll be back on Christmas eve. Make a reservation if you come on a holiday.

I ate at Black Angus this past Friday night with my mom. We followed in a larger party, so had a small wait. While we were waiting the manager Robert came over and visited with us. He remembered we had been in a while back as well. We were able to get Cynthia, who we try to get as regulars. She is awesome with service and remembering conversations. She remembered and asked how my mom’s surgery had gone. My mom ordered the French dip and the crab stuffed mashed potatoes as a side. I had the 24oz prime rib. It came out and was just right. Medium rare and a good flavor. Robert also came around and checked how everything was. He chatted with me on some interests etc. very personable. When we were leaving they were packed for an early Friday night. I know everyone has a different experience but for several years now we have been getting great service from Cynthia and consistent quality of food. I always leave satisfied and happy with our experience.

The food was great! The steak was cooked exactly the way I requested. And the sides complimented everything well.

The food was good. My bone-in Ribeye had a lot of fat. I know it’s a fatty steak just seemed like there was too much. Potato skins were great, garlic toast was very good. The bread you get before dinner was excellent and loved the butter. We had the carrot cake that was my favorite part of our meal. Very yummy…

Went to Black Angus for the first time last night in about 10 years with my wife, “Date Night” for lobster tails because traffic was too heavy to go into Portland for dinner at Jake’s Famous Crawfish. Terrible food. Seemed like a combination of Denny’s and Sizzler. The waitress charged me $270.39. Over charged by about $170.00. Still pending ($270.39) on my CC. Total waste of time and money. Lobster tails were the same size as craw-fish and it seemed like the side salad was pre-made at least 24hours prior and sat in a fridge until served. What a joke that place is. Never again and I am warning everybody. I think they rely on tricking out-of-towners with the website’s glossy menu photos. I doubt locals are returning customers. Don’t be a turkey!

Food was wonderful. Everything served in perfect timing. Strawberry lemon drop was delicious. Our steaks were cooked perfect. My mother’s birthday and they sang and gave her a big cookie with ice cream. Our server Dylan was lovely and prompt and polite. Management was engaging. All around good experience.

The sirloin I had was seasoned well and quite flavorful. The appetizers we good as well. The decor is dated, but again we went for the food, not the decor. The carrot cake and cheesecake were spectacular!

It’s been a while since we’ve been here. There was a wait even on a Thursday, so we ate in the bar area. The service was great. We split a steak and got an extra salad. Steak was fine. The char was perfect. Wedge salad side was delicious, the bread was fantastic as usual. Go during happy hour for the drink specials. Still ended up paying 62.00 for 2 of us with only 1 drink each and splitting a meal. It was enough food however and a nice atmosphere.

Kayla at Black Angus was absolutely fantastic! From the moment we were seated, she was friendly, attentive, and genuinely cared about making sure we had a great experience. She checked in at all the right times, made great recommendations, and kept everything running smoothly without ever feeling rushed. You can tell she takes pride in her work. Service like hers makes a big difference—she’s a real asset to Black Angus. We’ll definitely be back and hope to have Kayla again!
