Best bread pudding. Plump raisins, you can see the bread edges. The fragrant smell has you melting before you bite. The cookies and brownie were so good I’m glad I only got one of each. If I wasn’t trying to stay behind Shamu and counting my nickels I would’ve gotten cupcakes and slices of cake, they even have a Carmel cake. I haven’t read Hummingbird cake on a menu since leaving NC. You have to go, inhale and take in the memorabilia. The painting of the husband and wife pastor and First Lady takes you back to the jazz clubs. I will attend their Bible study next.

I’ve had the pleasure of experiencing the peanut butter, red velvet, Italian crème, coconut, chocolate and key lime cakes. We also tried vanilla as well as yellow with chocolate frosting cupcakes. Every single bite was plentiful, delicious, moist and just wonderful! My only regret is not trying every flavor before I’m moving out of the area! Thanks for giving me the taste I was craving and didn’t even know til I tried!!

The very best cake I have ever eaten!!! We got carrot cake and coconut cake. I don’t like shredded coconut and loved the coconut cake. The owners are so nice and so accommodating. Will definitely be back often. Thank you so much for all that you do.

Ordered the key lime cake slice, the lemon cake slice, & the chocolate cake slice with cream cheese frosting and it’s all a 10/10 very moist and delicious. I do recommended and I will for sure be coming back to try the banana pudding

We were blessed to have a slice of red velvet, shared with us by a celebrating family next to us at a restaurant. Oh my goodness – this was the best red velvet we have EVER had. 10/10, highly recommended! A must stop if they are open when you’re in town!
