Ruth’s Chris disappointed me yet again! I was excited to celebrate my friend’s birthday here. I had never been to this location before but it was definitely not what it could have been. The service was good but the food was very underwhelming and overpriced. Compared to other steakhouses in the area this is at the lowest rating for me. The freshness was not there, maybe it sat while we waited for the lamb chops and steaks but even a simple Caesar salad felt like I was eating a few pieces of lettuce from a bag of Fresh Express with Kraft Caesar dressing on top and the order of stuffed mushrooms
left me feeling like I was eating at a lower rated casual dining restaurant. The sides were disappointing, the mashed potatoes tasted like box potatoes and the “creamed” spinach was watery. The food makes me think it’s prepackaged in the back and being heated up in a microwave. It was edible so I gave 2 stars but very disappointing. Not one person in our party said they would return and most were first timers. For me, I will indulge myself at Steak 48. Also, I noticed when we arrived at 7pm it was not very diverse but 8pm on after the diversity increased. When making the reservation a week prior for an earlier time we were told there was only availability 8pm and later so to me that seems interesting and preplanned.

My Husband took me here to celebrate my birthday, and it was excellent. We had the three-course meal with salmon and shrimp, lamb chops, asparagus, and crab-stuffed mushrooms—everything was cooked perfectly and full of flavor. The service was great and the atmosphere was perfect for a special occasion. He was a little disappointed that they didn’t say happy birthday to me especially since he put it in the notes with the reservation. Overall it was nice.

Been a big fan of Ruth Chris since forever. I’ve always visited the one in Greensboro NC, but since recently just moving to Charlotte I visited the one here in the south park area.
I had to take the time to recognize the outstanding experience at this specific Ruth’s Chris location.
My visit tonight was perfection from start to finish. I began with the rich and velvety Lobster Bisque Soup, followed by the savory Crab Cakes, which are always perfectly prepared. For the main course, I couldn’t decide, so I enjoyed a combination of the tender Lamb Chops and the incredibly flavorful Stuffed Chicken with Shrimp. Everything arrived sizzling and exactly as ordered.
However, the highlight of the evening was truly our server, Nicole. She was absolutely fantastic—attentive, knowledgeable about the menu, and perfectly balanced professionalism with warmth. She anticipated our needs without being intrusive, which made the entire evening seamless and special. She deserves huge recognition.
And you can never skip dessert! Finishing the meal with the classic Bread Pudding sealed the deal.
If you are looking for a flawless upscale dining experience, look no further.

This was my 1st time attending this restaurant. I choose it from the sign outside. I like trying new restaurants. Sure enough I walked in and immediately had a classic scence. I went in and asked for a table. The host was pleasant and asked me about my shirt. I was wearing a Dodgers shirt. As soon as I sat down I was giving a menu. I got water and kept asking if I wanted alcohol. I declined but I can see for others they would like that. I got a ribeye and it was probably the best one I’ve ever had and very delicious. Everyone was friendly. Even the coworkers had high spirits. I notice everyone loving their food. Highly recommend this restaurant.
