Join us at Sails and enjoy one of the few waterfront restaurants in Trinidad. Grill meats and seafood are our specialty. We have re-opened but on a phased basis from Tuesday 16th January 2024. We will be open from 11am – 10pm Tuesdays to Sundays. Kitcken closes at 9pm. Closed on Mondays. Offering lunch specials and limited drinks and food menu. Pool table is also available. Updates will be posted as we continue to roll out to. Please continue to follow our social media page for updates and developments.

Absolutely loved our lunch at Sails restaurant!
The ambiance is cozy, perfect for a date or anniversary, birthday celebration.
Our server was attentive, knowledgeable and kind.
The food was perfectly cooked, and flavorful. The presentation was spotless.
We finished with the pistachio ice-cream and doble chocolate cake.
Highly recommended and definitely we will come back.

We visited Sails restaurant for a seasonal luncheon. The view was calming, the staff attentive and the atmosphere was festive. We provided feedback on our drinks and to our pleasant surprise, the bartender and the owner visited our table to address the concern. The food portions were also generous. In summary, we enjoyed our time at Sails Restaurant and would recommend this location if you’re looking for attentive staff and a calming/beautiful aesthetic.

Its worth it for the atmosphere, amazing 10/10, but if service and food is more important to you I would say this place is not the best choice. The food is mid tasting like something you can make at home but cost 3 times the price which what I think makes it less appealing.

Not worth time and money. We started at the bar as the staff from the main hall had a meeting and no one keep attention to us even tho other people was sitting outside. The bar is a joke. I asked for a virgin Mojito and got warm mix of sprite and soda. Gave up after first sip but was charged tho… eventually we were seated by the restaurant. Service was nice. Appetizers were nice. Main was average.
Unfortunately my chicken has too much salt and I couldn’t eat it. Steak was good. I mean all food was nice and fresh but not wow. Nothing special. The price they ask does not match the quality they offer. 200$ of charges was added to our 700$ bill. We will not be back. Zanzibar by the sea was way more better.

The food is great, the ambience is fantastic..both indoor and outdoor dining. The service could use some improvement though. It takes a long time for the wait staff to come to you when you are first seated, as well to take your orders, check you back etc. I’ve been there on a few occasions and at different times but the experience was the same.

Visited Sails recently and left quite disappointed, especially given the steep price point of $400 per person.
Food: Presentation was nice, but the taste was underwhelming. The meat was overcooked and dry, and portions were surprisingly small for the price especially the meat, they would fill the plate with greens to overcompensate for the lack of meat. Dessert seemed store-bought, though it was decent and actually the most generous portion of the meal.
Staff: Friendly and helpful—one of the few highlights of the experience.
Ambiance: The interior was pleasant, and there was a live artist performing, which was a nice touch. However, it was uncomfortably cold inside, which really took away from the atmosphere.
Overall, this place is not worth the price. You’re essentially paying fine-dining prices for average food and a lack luster experience.

Unfortunately this was a fail on my visit from London. The staff weren’t very helpful. They told us they would arrange for us to sit outdoors and when we paid the bill they told us we couldn’t go outside. We wouldn’t have purchased the drinks if that was the case. Wouldn’t go here again especially after the cost of the drinks and how the staff behaved. It’s a shame as the view outside was lovely and the cocktails weren’t bad. Better vibes elsewhere.

Quick story…Our first experience was ruined by terrible staff that treated us like we were begging to be served or acknowledged. The saving grace was Jose our waiter. He’s the best.
On this second occasion Mr Ishmael and Mrs Lisa our server took our service to another level. The food was delicious, great portions and excellent service which more than made up for any bad experiences we had in the past.
Did I mention the FREE addictive shrimp chips. Lol. All in all a great experience for the entire family.
