Overall the service was good. The attention to detail on how to pour a proper Guinness, great. The food and the price tag for what I received, we’ll say lacking.
If in the area I might consider a return to try something else, but not the abysmal take on a southern classic ever again.
The service was great — friendly, attentive, and on top of things without hovering. Everything felt smooth and easy, which made the night even better.
A solid first experience. I’d definitely slide back through.
Stood at front door with no hostess present. Four different staff members walked by without eye contact or asking if we had been helped. Hostess appears from behind us. Immediately seated.
Server started friendly, but became annoyed and/or indifferent quickly. Sodas were all flat with no carbonation. Despite sharing lack of carbonation, no effort was made to replace drinks or offer alternative.
Appetizers – hummus and chicken pozole soup. Hummus was fantastic, but soup was mostly broth with little flavor.
Meals – a burger, a salad, a chicken sandwich and shaved ribeye sandwich. Burger was good. Salad was lacking lettuce (imo) and the additional chicken was burnt, chicken sandwich was cold from sitting in window and other two meals were good.
Server wouldn’t acknowledge requests; simply walked away without a head nod or verbal acknowledgment. He did, however, fill requests without any words and walked away. Thank yous were ignored.
Total was just under $150 with tip. Food was meh while service was insulting.
A lobster lasagna was exquisite, it was light but rich without being heavy.
Mr Ken Robinson, the GM was an example of true humbleness.
Will recommend to anyone, this is the place for service. When we first entered the tavern through the lobby of the hotel we were met with Salem, a hospitality specialist. He was fantastic and pointed us in the direction of where to go.
Over all though really good.
I was pleased.
Me and my +1 were served by Lizzy. We were her last table before the end of the night and she did great at taking care of us two. She informed us what was still available for the evening and bought everything out graciously.
Food came out fast and tasted delicious.
