Absolutely no flavor or salt. Not even the sauces have flavor or spice. My partner didn’t want to finish her order – chicken tacos- despite spending $14 on 3 tacos.
The price doesn’t match the quality. I expect tacos with good flavor , maybe even some salt for $14. How disappointing. Definitely do not recommend.
Some of my honorable mentioned
Tortas: all of them try Breaded Chicken or Breaded steak w/ everything
Tostadas:
All are great try steak w/ everything
Mex Tacos:
No brainer al pastor
In my opinion, items could be a dollar or so cheaper. However if I’m paying for any Mexican dishes, it’ll be at this restaurant.
I always forget to take photos of my food. Heres what I caught before I finished it lol
NOTE: NO RICE IN THE RICE PUDDING ♀️ ODD cause I’m Spanish and I love rice pudding.
4 Tacos for 12 now. They can modify some so if you can speak Spanish you probably can get the best out of it.
A little chips is included and free.
No water. Bring Your water or buy a bottle.
The food tastes great and authentic.
They now add 18% tip to your bill. And there is an extra charge for using card.
Parking is hard to find if you drive.
We love Viva, every meal there is a treat.
Been here a few times trying different items fron the menu and the quality its always outstanding.
And the chips and salsa are free of charge!!
I ordered the al pastor tacos (4 per order) and the chorizo quesadillas (3 per order). The tacos were good. They also come with a side of some radishes and cucumbers. But the star was the quesadilla. Even after transit, it was still crispy. These were packed with ingredients – lots of chorizo, cheese, and lettuce (and possibly some crack). Both are served with a side of this hot sauce and green salsa, which I loved and smothered on my food.
The quality and price point is amazing. I feel like at a lot of Mexican places I’ve ordered from, you can only have one or the other but not at Viva Mexico. I think this might be the best Mexican food I’ve had in the area, and also the cheapest, which is rare. I almost don’t want to write that because I want to be selfish and keep that a secret, but at the same time, I feel like everyone should know about this place because it’s just that great.
Can’t wait to come back soon! The breakfast plates and the tortas sound really good so maybe I’ll go with that next. I’ve found my new favorite Mexican spot!
